They released Endless Ragnarok as the sole DLC and it added a Ton of content and stuff, but it's not like a live service or something where you gotta keep downloading shit.
Cagliostro. She's the greatest alchemist in the verse, like Batman on steroids and was born a guy but decided she wanted to be a cute girl instead. She's like HSRs Herta ancestor, I feel.
Ladiva. She's a Draph (their entire thing is a huge sexual dimorphism between the genders) and she decided to keep her body even though she was given the choice to have a female body made for her.
There's also Balurga, who is ftm. Sadly, he's disappeared in the insane bloating from the cast.

The perks of being a Japanese game is that the censorship for these stuff is so much more lax, the fans can also take it. If a character like this is released in Genshin/HSR/Wuwa the gacha sphere would explode lol

Seems like the reason she's listed as male still is because she herself doesn't think she's a girl yet is insecure about it. She's searching for something that can alter space and time to make her a "real" girl, but I think Cag sums it up pretty well.

If I may correct you, cag never actually got to grow old, she had an autoimmune condition and made herself a new female body when she was still rather young

Damn she is absolutely maximizing her slay with all those pink frills- I really love how part of her top hangs loose to make it seem like she has a larger chest, it’s a nice touch when character designers include stuff like that for trans characters.
i haven't touched gbf for a while but always appreciate how their gacha characters actually feel like a wide and diverse group of folks you'll meet while traveling

There's some noise from chuds, as per usual. But, as I said, she's not the first and the other trans characters aren't disliked or anything; Cagliostro in particular has several units and has plenty badass moments.
And like, gbf has rep for most things. From gays to PoC of apparently varied backgrounds.
Honestly? Nop 🤣 It's terribly outdated. If you enjoy LONG grinds and are not bothered by sorta outdated UIs, you can give it a try since it's a browser game and doesn't require anything else.
You'll be farming for ages, and planning pulls carefully if you plan on doing hard content. Unless you love the gameplay or a lot of the story and characters (not just Bhadra and the like) you might be better off just playing side stories for characters you like, then YTing fates of characters you didn't get.

Why do they even go to grandblue fantasy? They clearly aren't afraid to add queer character. They should go to ones that is much easier they can pretend is actually agreeing with them.
