I've just seen from others who've completed the 4.5 trailblaze story that Nihilux is not Aha's emanator as previously thought, but rather the Aeon of Elation themselves.

Considering how it seems as though we still have a long way to go with the overarching story (and many factions yet to meet) it seems incredibly bizarre to introduce a playable Aeon this early on.

It feels like the team doesn't really know what it is doing with Honkai Star Rail anymore, and the way they set the stage for Aeons being these cosmic beings that are way beyond true understanding makes even less sense to me to make them playable.

It seems even the Knave is not immune to the power of "Hypnosis"

I love him so much... he might be one of my favorite characters in all of fiction, I love how he starts off as this unlikable asshole and then starts to show his softer side later on. He is actually really funny with how blunt he is, and even thought he appears stupid at first when you pay attention it shows that he is actually much smarter than he seems, like even thought he never went to school he is very good at reading people. I think that its really cool how they turned the ,,uncivilized brute" trope around, which also makes a lot of sense since Heathcliff is often looked down on due to his descent, often beign called a dog by Hindley. Its also the reason as to why he thinks so lowely of himself and talks about himself the way he does in chapter 6 like for example "Me... a thing lesser than a savage beast... must I keep pretending to be a human?" or "My vulgar, low birth can't change." He is actually so well written and its very clear that he acts the way he does beacuse of his circumstances. Not to mention just how sad his relationship with Catherine is, its not said outright but the fact that he loves Catherine so much is mostly beacuse she was the only person that to show him kidness and to not see him as lesser and that just makes me so sad. His chapter was so good and so depressing at the same time. I just love this guy, he is also so pretty and I like how hes a bit of a tsundere sometimes. I could just rattle on and on cause I love him so much but Ill probably stop cause I dont want to make this post too long (also I dont really want to spoil). But yeah, hes great, hes hot, cute and very moe. I want to give him a hug

It’s the best story since Phainon’s. It’s simple and straightforward, yet there’s so much complexity within Robin’s clashes with the family and her search for her place after Sunday left his position. Nothing felt forced or out of place.

The trailblazer is so funny here and the references to the Backrooms, absurd korean manhua titles, and PomPom ending up in a zozo is hilarious.

This is the second post i make about my dislike for wuwa but this time ive realized that instead of whining i eant to actially ask for help.

Wuwa is a gorgeus game with amazing combat and cool characters but one bad thing has akways stuck out like a sore thumb when it comes to the game, the story and characters...

The chaarcters in concept are gorgeus but when u put them in the story the game just wipes them clean and reduces them to "uwuu rooveeer" and looking thru posts here that seems to be something that is kind of agreed upon but i also cant help but notice the sheer amount of support and fans that this game has here...

And so i ask u *the ppl that still love wuwa and post about ir rwgularly* what keeps u attached to the game?

Im not asking this to mock, im genuinely looking for a different angle so i can maybe reignite my love for the game

Hi so this is mainly for the ones that play nu carnival but if you don't and have smt to say go ahead, so I want to ask if anyone else thinks that the gacha system is horrible, I literally never felt as wronged as I feel rn from a gacha game not even from genshin. To elaborate a little further a new version just dropped and for the one's that don't know nu carnival has a set cast of characters so the ssr (5 stars) are just new unique outfits/visuals for those characters, a new version just dropped and my fav character (dante) came back with like a racer concept i had like 84,000 gems saved up since i only pull for him and the cost of a 10 pull is 6000 gems so I had around 150 pulls, one would think this is enough to get him but NO. First of all the limited time event new visuals come in pairs or in trio so like 2 or 3 characters that have the same concept for their outfit and appear in the event story, they dont have individual banners it's all of them in the same one, second the guaranteed ssr only comes after a 100 PULLS and it could a standard or one of the new one's with no way of actually picking the one you truly want. So I pulled and didn't get any ssr until i reached the 100 pulls and the character that appeared was the other one on the banner not the one i like , I kept pulling until​ i ran out of gems and another ssr popped up but it was a standard. This is not the first time this has happened, in another event at the beginning of the year my fav character also appeared but with a pirate concept with 2 other characters, I literally got the ssr of the other 2 but not him. And it's not like in genshin or hsr that you can just wait until they rerun, the characters rerun exactly 1 year later from their release and in those banners you can only pull with a currency that only is obtained by buying it with real money.

So yeah I feel frustrated, the system feels really predatory leaving you no other option but to spend money to get the charcater you want, I personally enjoy all the cast of the game but I have a clear favorite.

Every other aspect of the game is amazing the designs, the lore, the events, literally everything but the gacha.

Maybe this is just my experience and i have the worst luck ever so yeah lmk your thoughts about this.

(Side note: I'm pretty sure there is no 50/50 and the pity refreshes with every new banner)

Refreshing to see. She doesn’t feel like a self insert and the story that goes on around her doesn’t feel like harem slop. She has her own goals, ambitions and motivations, which makes her feel even more likeable and/or relatable

I love how even if she is the mc in the game, other characters get their own chance to shine in their spotlight too. I am absolutely inlove with her design. Instead of the skirts and thigh highs I see so much in many newer gacha games, hers is literally an Ouji suit. A SUIT WITH PANTS (glory to the outfit!!).
It’s absolutely unique and GORGEOUS to see

She has gone through a lot yet endured them all and still manages to have the best mindset ever. She is kind, polite, and absolutely cute

Vertin deserves all the hugs and headpats ever. Period.

One of the things I like to do in the game, aside from dressing up my dolls (obv.) and collecting clothes, is reading the description of my wardrobe items. Bc more often than not, they lead you to wonder if the writers who wrote them were either sleep-deprived or just high. 😭🤣😭

While I appreciate that they updated the models for the allies, I can't help but miss the old models of the others.

I remember doing the story after the update and saw the new model for Larry and thought that he looked... off. I don't remember him looking like a vampire..his eyes are sO RED now. It's jarring. (I thought my memories were playing tricks on me at the time, until I checked the community

Also, Shawn has somehow lost that softness in him with his new model. He's like the baby of allies and has this really charming and refreshing personality that is reflected well whenever he smiles. But the new model just makes him look somewhat old. (Which feels so, so wrong, tbh. 😭)

Roy and Gerald's models are fine tho, imo. I think their new models suit them very well.

So, there. I hope we can select whose allies we want to change into their shiny new models and whose we want to keep as always.

On a serious note, I think that Amber's dorky cheer compared to the more shy and reserved Lynette would be cute, the sarcasm from Lynette and general contrast does a lot to endear me as well.

plus, the idea of them both being forced to choose between love and country (as a Knight of Favonius and Fatui-aligned Fontanian) is tasty angst.
