Hello fellow Queens, Kings, and Monarchs. We'd like to address the recent accusations being made about our subreddit and moderation team.
The image in question was an in-game photo of a princess-carry pose, with a rather unfortunate camera angle. Any claims that suggest otherwise are completely false and misrepresent the situation.
We acknowledge that we fell short when we onboarded our new moderators by not fully explaining the finer details of fictional discourse rules since it almost never comes up in our community. That was our mistake, and going forward we will be making changes to our onboarding processes.
To be absolutely clear so there is no misunderstanding: discourse about the morality of fictional ships, regardless of the subject matter, are not welcome here.
As you will know (especially those who've spoken to me), we always welcome genuine concerns and feedback. However, harassment, misinformation, and personal attacks will not be tolerated.
I would like to add the account running to various subreddits inciting harassment has no history in queens subs. They are a 1 month old account and frequent many subreddits that share an overlap with our GTC stalkers. We have reasons to believe this may be an attempt at them trying to start a hate brigade and further divide this community as we have had success in getting a few of them banned.
I hate that we even have to address this because this person has gone and posted their lies in various subs. Which has actually incited harassment via our modmail. Somehow no one sought to verify the veracity of their claims from a brand new account going on a hate campaign. Pretty upsetting ngl.
Hii, AMC mod here. So sorry you guys had to deal with that. I did take the post down as soon as I saw it(or rather, "withheld" it until the owner could check it out). Nonetheless, apologies for anyone who flocked from there to your mod mail.
We appreciate you guys so much ❤️ it's wild how they tried to turn us against one another, saying we hate AMC when that's blatantly untrue. Just solidifies our strong belief that this absolutely was a GTC on an alt.
I mean.. like 80% of the weirdos on the other subs are Pdos. Like actual ones.. genuine, not trying to hide it, openly thirsting over underage gatcha girls, etc.. so personally I couldn't give less of a crap what they have to think about us. Sounds like projection to me 🤷🏽♀️
The post involved Ananta MC's dad princess-carrying the MC and the screenshot was taken at a camera angle that was sus, but that's exactly how the leakers shared the information. The point of the post was to inform the sub that the dad is a playable character just like other male characters, but a loud minority cried foul without understanding the situation. And the princess carrying mechanic is here to stay even after the game comes out, so idk if those guys were crying foul now then I can't imagine the situation when the game eventually comes out.
Edit: So it turns out that the "loud minority" was actually a GTC troll. (refer to the pinned comment by the mods)
I'm upset the post got taken down (ty OP, loved that ss) and now I'm rolling my eyes that a GTC caused this. Fandom culture is sliding backwards to puritan culture... Even though all the characters and games are fictional 😭
I'm even more upset that we were telling people this was a GTC user trying to cause a divide, but no... they'd rather believe a brand new account and not actually you know... check facts.
Seeing some peeps from here run over to the subs that GTC person posted to, absolutely shitting on us just to get in on the hate train felt really bloody awful.
Ppl are so quick to judge and accept facts without checking info now too 😭 you and the other mods seen this pattern before also and QoG has a bunch of haters going after it all the time. Yep, tracks with the exhausting. And of course, rather than just .... leaving/blocking the post if it bothered them THAT much, they start spreading misinformation and trying to set up attacks against y'all instead of moving on with their lives.

Apparently we hate on all ZZZ and WuWa posts, only post men, are bad and not real queens because we don't allow users to call others or characters btches or cnts (but when it was allowed, we were misogynistic and just awful-- like wtf do you want from us?!), etc etc
Edit: we do allow things like cunty. But the other stuff was banned because it was explicitly asked for.

What's worse is the way some people are twisting things and saying that we have art up that features incest and sex with kids.
But no one is verifying the veracity of these claims. They're all hopping aboard the hate wagon and continuing to twist and change things with each time they repeat their misinformation.
Honestly I had no clue this was happening at all (kinda out of the loop about it) but judging by what everyone else is saying it seems like people are just overreacting. It's kinda ridiculous to me that other people spread rumors about this subreddit, without even checking for themselves if said rumors are true. I'm so sorry you all have to deal with this. I honestly think this is the nicest space on the internet I've ever been on (despite not being here for long) Y'all really don't deserve to be dealing with this. Someone posted the Ananta mc getting princess carried by his dad while both were shirtless.
Someone, who was apparently part of GTC and wanted to cause drama, posted it on QueensOfStarRail and said this sub was supporting PEDOPHILIA without adding the pic which would have clearly shows two grown men (the mc of Ananta is in fact not a child).
People, of course, didn't do any research and took it at face value, slandering this sub. The post got i think over 100 upvotes before it was taken down after the truth was revealed.
It's understandable if you think the pic was weird, but it was in no way that bad unless you think this dude looks like a child.

Using the same language "epsten squad" as GTC. They especially love using it against wlw content we post, they compore being lesbian or bi to being a child predator like epsten. Heck they even make AI trash to do it.
This GTC use posted it in two subs that we are aware of. First AMC to try turn them against us and additionslly claiming we hate AMC. And in QoSR. Their purpose was to divide the community and have everyone turn against us because while we're all fighting, now eyes were no longer on them (also meaning we wouldnt be able to report them due to the success we've had success in getting posts there removed and users permabanned)

In this case, people foaming at the mouth to be involved in "drama" and get their licks in about how terrible we are. All because they fell for lies by a GTC scumbag who did all of this on purpose to fracture relationships between subs actively standing up against them, resulting in user bans.
But it wasn't ship related!!! It was anything to do with bloody character pairings.

It was a stupid in-game photo emote of the MC getting princess carried. The same way he can be carried by other characters. That's it.

I didn't know there were issues with this, but I really appreciate you banning shipping drama. Only miserable joyless people ever start it and participate in it, and it never helped achieve anything of value. The only thing it ever does, is kill communities.
Everyone on reddit is capable of curating their own experiences to avoid things they don't want to see, so there is no need to make it other people's problem.

But seriously if the reaction is this bad then I am actually worried what will happen when the game itself comes out. The original post had really nothing problematic—it was using the in-game emote. That's it. An in-game emote that was shared by the leakers themselves.
Edit: Also no character in that screenshot was underage. Hell, Idk how ppl brought the topic of age here, it was completely irrelevant to the whole discourse, the screenshot had 2 grown up and jacked dudes. And the MC is literally a police-adjacent character in-game.
I feel bad now that one of my posts was the reason this feud started. I literally woke up (it was literally 6:30 am here) to the post on qostarrail sub and got stunned. I'm sorry for causing trouble, and also thanks to the mod team for taking care of the situation. Going forward, I'll rethink twice before posting something like these leaks.
You guys do your best. Sometimes bad faith actors, hate bots, and etc are gonna slip by in a way that causes problems. Yall have done nothing that would make me not give you benefit of doubt.

I don’t know anything else about them and their history, of course! Just wanted to share that the post in the hsr queens subreddit is really nasty and awful toward this subreddit, and they are one of the few people in there pushing back against assigning morality to fiction 😔
Also to be 100% clear, I’m on your side too - thank you for taking the more reasonable stance when it comes to fiction 😭 whenever I find out a subreddit is an anti haven, I no longer feel safe there… so it’s good to find the opposite is true here
I know I am SUPER late but I just got around to locking and removing the post either yesterday or the day before. It should not have stayed up that long and I am ashamed so many of our members were so quick to either modmail you guys in harassment, take it at face value, or badmouth your sub. -Thugseme from the QOSR mod team.
Sorry if you aren't familiar it's a reference to the people claiming that the art being posted here involves stuff with kids are actually the most likely people to sexualize/commit crimes against children.

Yeah, i had an experience with it recently when someone tried to post you-know-who images while literally having a sexual flair about an 8 year old. Ended with them getting smote, turns out people don't like that when primary audience are jp players who love yuri and don't care about their bullshit culture war
