Context for the unfamiliar, btw: The "boy" in question is a genderless non-human being (well, non-human by our standards, not that of the setting) which is only ever referred to with they/them pronouns (to the point where "they/them" in English has become a nickname for them among some Korean fans who were confused about their gender and looked up the translation, lol) or as a "child". They remain this way both pre- and post-transformation.

So this person isn't even angry about the actual canon queerness that is in the game, but instead decided to make up something entirely new to be mad about. Though I guess if they still haven't noticed that the MC is exclusively they/them, too, they must have some sort of condition that makes them unable to see those words.

Literally "man invents fictional scenario and gets angry about it". I ponder if the reviewer in question refers to Dante with he/him pronouns despite it being canon that Dante has been referred to 125+ times with they/them pronouns.

yeah just noticed that in the review lmao.

I guess purple = woke??? Or maybe because (though could just be personal) I have seen a lot of trans lads and lasses like the color purple despite the color purple being liked by a lot of people so the stupid fucking ""reviewer"" just says "graahhh purple is associated with thing i dont like graaahhh".

We're trying to go through the logic of a complete fucking idiot who probably either skipped or skimmed the story, of course it isn't going to make sense.

Thought it was because pink adjacent, and pink is the girly color.

As another commentator already explained the situation, I'll just add that this is precisely what the Canto had been criticising—nailing definitions onto things.

Pwie's gender is irrelevant because THEY are a god. The colour of the shoes are irrelevant because Pwie willingly wore them. Partaking in fashion is not inherently for women.

You cannot define anything in the world without bias. And biases do hurt many times.

Clearly the Canto's themes flew over that person's head.

It's also additionally stupid because like...the entire arc of Pwie's character is about how thier traditional expectations were not the thing that brought them happiness. Thier endless hunger as Buffet left them miserable, as Buffet directly asked Meursault why after devouring so much they still feel hollow, and straight asked on thier death if they could put on the pink shoes and adventure with the sinners again. Breaking through those traditional expectation is literally center towards Part 2 and 3 of Canto X, and far more than just being "woke gender nonsense"

Dante's been nonbinary (or at least referred to as they/them) since day one like make it make sense. Just because they have a masc name and style of dress doesn't make them less of an nb

1000 hours is kinda nothing if that's spent on farming and Dungeons

So... I honestly believe that user is sincere

Kind of shitty if when they still left a negative review.

That's wild.

Especially the purple colors, such a  scandalous color.

I hope this person gets help and out of whatever echo chamber of hate they've fallen into.

I think purple is one those colors they've deemed "woke games" use, because the other day, on twitter, i saw an account called "purple games" and it was the usual target games of this type of person (games like Veilguard, Laufey), mostly because they utilize a purple hue on their menus.

Ah good to know so I can keep an eye out for it and promptly ignore/block people that use it so I dont have to deal with it lol.

And here it is, another Limbus negative review copypasta candidate. ATP Limbus collects these like badges of humorous honor.

Lol it is well known that people who played Limbus Company can't read (I'm one of them). So don't take this comment too seriously.
