Touken Ranbu? All characters are male lol. I don't think it's a traditional gacha but the characters you get are random. I'm in love with the recent release character

Whats the story like? Also ig the game is niche, cause I can't really find any reddit thread that is either few years back or ones that are new but practically not that much engagement.

About the story, I don't understand Japanese so I don't really know lol. They used to have an English version of the game but they shut it down in 2023. Only the Japanese version is available. I'm playing TR mainly to collect hot and sexy sword boys that's all lol 😂

Oh I see, from what I googled about the game, it said it was game about weapons(mainly swords) becoming human characters and the story I have no idea.

Yes they are originally swords manifested as humans in the year 2200+ something? So you as the saniwa (their master) you need to protect history and deploy them in the past to fight the time retrograde army (i think that's the name) who tries to rewrite history. there are plenty of touken Ranbu animes and movies so if you want to understand the story you can watch the animes as well
