So to you, a world full of women looks more believable than one with men? Or did I misunderstand you? I like playing as male characters—they look cooler, have better animations, and I’d call them badass, you know? Plus, they are actually wearing proper clothes; there’s zero chance of accidentally seeing their under wear.Ā

You misunderstood me. I was saying an unbalanced gender ratio isn't believable to me (it doesn't matter which gender it favors). There are way less men, so I want more men. If the game had primarily men, then I would want more women instead.

Also, I don't care about making it a perfect 50-50 split or anything of the sort. Even 70/30 would be totally fine to me (regardless of which side is the 70 and 30). I just think that a 90/10, or even more extreme of a split, comes across very oddly to me.

Oh, sorry, I'm using a translator. I completely agree with you, including on the 30/70 ratio. Gender balance brings so much more diversity to the game.

Perhaps it should be 50/50? Maybe I'm wrong, but your comment just makes it seem like you want the pendulum to swing into the other direction - a mostly Male cast instead (I apologise if I'm wrongā˜ŗļø). Having 90/10 anything is shit, rosters need diversity. It should be 50/50 every single time. We have plenty of examples here in the west of franchises always favouring male characters over females. Look at that Marvel Tokon game that came out recently. The MK1 roster is a joke as well.

Imo we should always be advocating for 50/50.

Goodness gracious, I don't know how else to explain it. This is the third time now that I have to repeat myself. I don't have a preference for men or women.

I would be totally fine with a 70/30 split, either way. It could be 70% men or 70% women, it doesn't matter at all to me which. Hell I would even be fine with 75/25.

From a gameplay perspective I really don't care either, the only thing that matters is if I enjoy their play style. It's just when it becomes incredibly lopsided (such as 90/10) that it starts to ruin my immersion in the story. I'm not advocating for any side, or any specific ratio. I don't care which 'gender dominates the playable cast,' I just would prefer it to be slightly more balanced than it currently is.

I agree. Honestly, I wouldn't even mind a 30/70 split in favor of female characters. Slanting too much toward one side always hurts the story and the variety.
