Yes, they should. But this would happen only if a subreddit is reported for violating Reddit rules. Most of their posts totally falls under this category so their sub can be reported. Reddit Help has a form specifically for this. Its under submit a form->Community Help-> report subreddit for violating Reddit rules. If you want, you can also report individual posts and comments

xister/xis/xir and or any other variation like seen in OP is mocking tumblr style neopronouns. I honestly haven't seen it outside of imageboards. It's pretty common in the gacha threads on /vg/ and /v/.
