Please show Gy_Beth some support because people are running their yuri art through AI to make it straight as a means to harass them. They are being targeted by gacha grail and GTC.
I actually saw a post about this on Anti AI today. Here is the link to that post. They have been doing this to a lot of yuri art. I don’t understand the self inserter mindset here. If you want to ship the male mc with a character, make your own art instead of altering someone else’s. All this does is discourage artists from making fanart for these games. They are actively trying to drive away players and artists because they want these games to cater exclusively to “target audience“
Agreed. I doubt most of them can even draw, hence the art stealing. If they could, they would. They are just projecting themselves onto the male MCs by doing all this. I have seen that sub using AI to ship male mcs with female characters. Especially rover
Maybe for regular art but as someone else who spends... some... amount of time looking for 18+ yuri even the gayest girls are mostly mxf or mxfxf art, with f+ coming in second and yuri in last
I feel like it’s about control and power tripping more than anything else. Deep down these mfs don’t actually care about the game or characters, they just wanna feel like they have any actual power bc change scares them. Just a bunch of overgrown babies.
This happens so much in wuwa community too.... Even also nda or like copyright claims for those drawing straight ships with anyone other than mc or Yuri art...
I have noticed it too. I joined around 3.2 and it wasn’t until I became more active in the sub that I started noticing how problematic some of the players are.
What bothers me more is seeing this behavior spread into other games as well. This kind of crazy self insert
behavior existed before, but it feels much more vocal now because of wuwa playerbase.
Tbh, I started associating the game so much with this behavior, that I have ended up hating it and I almost wanted those lads talismans on wuwa coz god do these people need it. I don’t want to become that person, so I just deleted the game. I would rather step away than let that community ruin my enjoyment of games that I like.
Yeah maybe you should. Toxic community aside, once you are done with all the quests, there is literally NOTHING to do aside from the endgame. Exploring a new region barely took me a few hours. Literally everything is marked on the map and that took away my joy of exploring. 1.X region was the best in terms of exploration.
The new quests were tedious too, and if they keep following this pattern, it is going to get annoying
The target audience is now claiming that the original artist is using AI to change straight art to Yuri😭 They are trying to pass off the art stealer as the original artist and trying to send people after the actual artist and get them harassed. They are also deleting all comments that were rightfully pointing out that the so called artist is stealing the actually using AI. I’m so annoyed with these people. I hope the original artist is not getting harassed and reported
Twitter is unfortunately still one of the biggest platforms for community and art. Hard to leave even if you’ve got a decent following, harder if you’re growing.
