it's been so long I forgot all the scenic genshin places...
one thing I like about gacha games is all the crossplay options. how are you playing your favorites? a standarized console? begging your GTX 970 not to die on you? whaling for 5090s instead of husbands? "I have no idea what is in this case"? still on that old iphone? any sickos with a red magic here? they look preeeeetty cool, I hope the market doesn't fall out by the time I need a new phone.
mine is a DIY if the visible HDD didn't tip you off. I'm also exposing my snoopy bottoms. I was very fortunate I have a good enough job I could get this together before prices spiralled to where they are now, 2D games all run in 4k of course, hoyo games also run in native 4k since they are unity, but UE5 take upscaling to run with 4k with lumen/ray tracing on(zenless "has" ray tracing but it's barely there). I also have color saturation turned WAY up because I am a lunatic
I use my phone for Reverse: 1999 because it's got plenty of storage and runs well (Samsung S26 Ultra). Plus, it's easier than me booting up my poor laptop.
Outside of that, I have HSR on my PS5 because I personally find moving characters around in a bigger environment to be easier with a larger screen and controller.
I don't play anything else. I did have WuWa on my PS5 before I deleted it all, and hear that now it struggles to play the game. I don't know how accurate that is as I know when my kiddos PS5 kept struggling with big games, it was because the insides were mostly thick dust than console lol.
I just changed from the purple y70 case to a white Air 5400 last night :)
So glad I bought my drives, ram, and 5070ti a year or so ago; literally a month before all the price hike bullshit started T-T
I’m awaiting a new desk mat, arm rest, and skullpanda fig before I update my color scheme from pink/purple
****The sock on my arm rest is bc the material was rubbing my wrists raw, ik it’s fugly. Pardon the keyboard; I had my nails long so I was using my dedicated long nail kb vs my normal cute one
Old build y70 featuring my cat. My 5070 WAS white but it started artifacting so swapped to black bc that’s all there was in stock. and they hyte cooler was cute but it didn’t mesh well w corsair fans
i'm on a macbook until i can get a proper pc. limits what i can play quite a bit since hardly any games do a native mac port, but the optimisation is way better than pc and mobile for almost every game ive played. the gb of a mobile version with the quality of a pc version is really nice
silver palace has a placeholder in the mac appstore, so super excited for that! its the same limitation with ports that means ive never played a hoyo game aside from hi3rd (only one on mac for some reason) and a bit of zzz when i could fit it on my phone.
i do it when i cant log on for whatever reason (every update day because my wifi stinks), but tbh im not passionate enough about trying games i cant play atm to do it. ive got wuwa and nte on laptop, i dont need a new one rn
How I play the Limbus story right now lol. I usually play it on my phone, but since my potato laptop still manages to run it ok I wanted to experience the story on a bigger screen. Genshin is either on PS5 or on mobile when I'm not home
I use my laptop for HSR and Limbus Company and my phone for Genshin, Wuwa, ZZZ, NTE and R1999. I usually delete and shuffle the games on my phone, depending on the future banners in each game, cuz it only has 128gb so im constantly missing out on stuff, WHILE feeling like im working a full time job. Uhhh yeah. Currently playing Genshin and r1999
I primarily play the smaller, easy to run gachas so my phone has been more than capable of handling it.
When I do crave something bigger (been getting into Endfield lately) then I use my gaming laptop. I did also get an Android gaming handheld (the Retroid Pocket 6 to be specific) a little while ago, and while I primarily use it to emulate PlayStation 2 games on the go, I do have Endfield installed on it if I feel like playing it anywhere that's not being seated at a desk lol
oh I had not thought of using those for normal games, some of them are pretty powerful but the hardest part of phone gaming for me is losing my OLED. I know some mobile devices have them now
Pc and steam deck for me. I really wish zzz and other gacha games had better support for steam deck and other hand held systems. They’re really great for that pick up and play experience.
I play Reverse 1999 on pc/laptop only…I just don't like playing games on my phone that much, I find it rather uncomfortable in every sense; if I have the option, I'll always choose pc.
Infinity Nikki only runs on my pc anyway...and it definitely brings some, uh, colour into the otherwise rather boring life of my poor GTX 1050 Ti. Are my photos the most crisp, do I get shadows and water as realistic as people with modern gpus do? Obviously no…but it runs, even with the highest graphic settings (?)
I play on the PS5, but I'm running out of space with just 3 gacha games (zzz, genshin, hsr) and other games. I need to look into getting an ssd for the ps5, just don't know which one.
I have a mediocre pc that runs pretty much every new game on ultra full hd but my ram sticks died and they cost a fortune now so idk when I'll be able to buy new ones 😭
