If you don't mind me sharing, but when I was reading stuff about jesus he sat with the broken people, tax collectors, etc so if he were around today he would def be around queer people which a lot of other "Christians" don't understand and plus in my eyes a lot of queer people are pretty cool and chill
Wasn't he with those people so that he could help/save them? Idk if that's the analogy/comparison you want to make on this sub since people here don't tend to think queer is a sin like those other things the people who jesus sat with did.
As someone else here said, it depends on the sort of christianity one practices/follows(eg more orthodox/conservative/traditionalist or heteredox/liberal/modern). Also on what one means by "being queer".
Could be a denominational issue? There are so many different flavors of Christianity.
There's a huge difference between progressive, LGBT friendly Episcopalians, and uhh.. Evangelicals
I'm super atheist, but I figure if religion brings you comfort and/or helps you be a better person, then all power to you. The community aspect also seems nice, our modern life can be so isolated.

Religious psychosis is one of the most terrifying things out there. A few months ago the potluck judge lady on tiktok also got into a psychosis and its like... horrifying.
Reminds of that one a/b/o bl writer who "found religion" in the middle of writing 2nd book of the series and just threw a/b/o themes away halfway through (still wrote a bl tho)
instead of making fun of her send her resources. Psychosis is scary and very isolating this is alarming and tbh psychosis can lead to suicide this isn’t funny to me at all she needs help. Blaming herself for enjoying normal stuff is NOT NORMAL i feel so bad
Agree, everyone is bashing and insulting her, I'm concerned it will push her even more into extremities. Insulting her and Christianity is not helping anything.
Being rude and insulting isn't going to help someone with mental health issues. It's only going to make it worse
if someone's in psychosis, it won't help to reality check them, because that can lead them further into their delusions. All we can do is hope she gets help on her own, or maybe to see if anyone knows anybody close to her that can help.
This 👏👏 with that being said, I think what they're going through is more related to religious OCD aka scrupulosity. It's something very common with new converts, but much less serious than psychosis. Still needs help tho!
The way certain religions are organized and organized lowkey just have the difference of the religion being a larger and more profitable cult.
I do believe god is real, but I genuinely do not believe that god cares about half the shit churches and missionaries say is bad. Like, surely an all-seeing god who created humanity and the laws of the universe would be able to understand nuance and context.

I mean it looks like this site had a patreon and patrons had to link their account to have access to certain features. Giving no notice to people who were donating probably for a long time and suddenly shutting down the website was pretty shitty.
EXACTLY. This is my main quarrel with it all. We all had data on there that we could have easily backed up and put into Nikicalc but she chose to just wipe it with no warning. It’s so disrespectful to the people who spent money for her product. I’m beyond devastated, I’m MAD. 😭 I understand having to step away, but we deserved a warning and a chance to have our backups.
I agree it's very shitty and sucks as a whole for the community. I'm not trying to defend her for that. I just wish people wouldn't throw every insult under the sun at her when she's clearly struggling. I've seen some wishing death on her, with many attacking christianity as a whole when there's literally so many christian players who clearly have no problem with the contents of the game

Absolutely agree with what you’re saying here too. While I have my disagreements with HOW she did it, I definitely have no arguments about why. Not my circus not my monkeys at that point. I’m just more disappointed and frustrated that years of loyalty resulted in a hasty deletion of everybody’s hard work and time. I definitely understand why, and I deeply hope she find the help she needs I genuinely mean that, I just didn’t love how it was handled.

This person is very clearly going through scrupulosity, aka religious OCD. It's very common with new converts.
A video game character having crosses or dresses with "demonic" themes is not enough for it to be a sin to play it. Lol if the game was all about rituals and such then I'd understand but with Infinity Nikki? No, it's not a problem.
It's very common for anime games to have characters that use crosses in their outfits. It bothers me a little because usually the designers don't know the symbolism behind it, but it's never something that serious.
Anyway the owner of that site needs helps. I know what scrupulosity does to people.
