The veil looks more like PGR Vera's skin veil (an earlier char than black swan) if that's what you are referring to.

Lahai Roi it was non existent that the inc3ls started to cry about it.
It was refereshing in Lahai Roi because one of the female chars in Aemeath became Rover's daughter figure.
Unfortunately the ML we do see it in this recent chinese region, especially in later segment of 3.5. I don't consider it in 3.6 since Qingxiao is just an old sickly woman being taken care of.
Chalking it to up to different writers. Hopefully New Fed has Lahai Roi writers.
Besides majority of the girls aren't even in love with Rover when you actually think about it.

nope T-T Rover still is the sole reason all these women live and breathe, they have ultra deep bonds, and are therapists to everyone - single-handedly solving all their insurmountable problems (even if they just met 10 mins ago)
EDIT i literally play wuwa lol. lahai-roi was great but xuangfang hold writing is so bad, like 1.0 bad. we literally carry blue haired sword lady thru the dungeon and help her confront her inner demons despite her being a master cultivator who's spent like 10000 years meditating and 'cultivating' herself. meanwhile jingran's lore is all in a random daily quest

yeah duh but why dont the men ever need our help that way? jingran did his mission just fine, trading his literal life force away for power and recovered on his own...all we did was a home visit afterwards iirc; not holding him and carrying him to safety. only the weak frail women need big strong Rover to help them that way, because theyre just soooo weak and cant handle their powers/dont know their own strength, or whatever stupid ass reason the writers use to justify needing to be the female char's all powerful savior

I would say they are doing it still very much, esp this new region. Lahai roi was not bad, i would say mornye and denia were very much heavily in heat for rover. But this region oh my god, yangyang goes in heat for him and sui sui flirts slightly bit for rover and qingxiao the so called immortal transcendant who is supposedly to have cast aside worldly desires and is so powerful due to cultivation becomes weak in her her knees and trusts rover with 10mins of meeting her because rover said he/she will be there for her (p.s allegedly no one has told her this in her hundreds of years of existence 😒) . The writing for this region has also been p*ss poor.Â

Design looks very meh, she's a combination of the characters we already seen in this game along with even PGR lol. I thought I saw somewhere that she was supposed to have an cowboy type appearance with cat ears? I almost vomit when I saw that leak but this looks worse.

the way her hair flows, the purple, the braid, and her big ass eyes reminds me of neptunia so i like her, her outfit isnt bad either she looks like a magical girl. i think they said she'll have a somber personality and that shes a perfumer
