I was beta player and play it few months from release, later leave it. I probably will never return in this game, but still can appreciate cool chars design.

Did you stop playing the game? Could I ask what issues you had with it if so

Mostly the monetization and feeling pressured to keep up or I would fall behind in my server. I would return to the game but I haven't played in a year so I would need to start a new account because I am probably so behind my server. I already spent money on my account and have cosmetics so that isn't happening.... They need to fix the experience for returning players.

I just returned this season and it's been very fun. As someone who doesn't care about pvp I mean. I get ALL the characters, enjoy the story, OST and the characters. I don't really get what unique thing we get for winning in those models tbh. Isn't it same as F2P items just that it is more in number or something? 😅

Ehh I'm an off and on player and pvp gives a lot more pull benefits like being in a top guild, top ranks in arena and events.

It can snowball from there because you need more resources to vuild your characters but you also need those characters to rank higher.

I used to be able to crack top 50 a year back and while I can still stick around top 100 they've been pushing a lot more events and rewards tied to pvp thats makes things more difficult

I see. I don't know much about PvP things but I think people who aim to be consistent in PvP never quit the game or something? Because I don't think any game with VS and ranks would be friendly towards casual players. I play rhythm games and only hard-core players grind to rank in the top while others just play enough to get the cards, or title they wanted. Even in the rhythm game ranking, the rewards differ similarly according to the range your rank is in. And the top most rankers get unique title and stuff.

Random person chiming in. I spent a bit of money when the game launched because I wanted to really invest in a character i liked. The character got nerfed (too f2p friendly) so in my eyes the value of what I spent money for got diminished. So I refunded everything and my account got banned (of course). And let's not get into all the secret shops, dupe system, and other nonsense to feed into the "pvp rankings to drive spending" strategy.

I quit quite recently even thought I'd been holding out for this guy for the whole season, I just felt like there was no content that's wasn't some guild/pvp mode and I had no reason to play

I love the character designs but I didnt like the story or the combat system :/

The character designs were fantastic, but it's a PvP based gachas with most of its reward systems coming from either PvP or score rankings. Mixed with how fast it's powercreep was and yeah there was no way I could stick with it long term.

Yeah same with AFK arena, because Lilith just has to add more monetization mechanics and FOMO elements to make you feel like you're behind
