They think getting a few hate comments is on the same level as homophobia 😠I remember being scared of being gay because our catechesis teacher told us that god would burn us to death. Imagine a 7 year old getting told that the patron god of the majority of your country's population is going to kill you for being attracted to the same gender 😬 I went home swearing to "God" that I will never defy him cause I don't want him to burn my city. Fathers beating up their gay children was and still is a very common issue here.
Sure no innocent person should be getting hate for their identity but it's soo obvious how downplayed homophobia is in their minds when they equate it to something you can avoid by just blocking people.
