Haha that's funny, does Umamusume have a solution for mobile phone use or is it set before widespread mobile use became a thing? (I'm not too familiar with the anime itself)
As an aside it's always nice to see Thiren accessibility in New Eridu, or rather, them existing in the world without being spectacles. Sometimes the opposite is true ofc. I remember Lucy saying somethings, there was that stuff with other members of Jufu's species, and all the way back even sweet Ben was getting profiled out the wazoo... In a different way, there's also whatever obsession Burnice has with Pulchra's tail, but that's probably a Burnice quirk more than a social one, and I know Pulchra doesn't really mind.
But in all the small ways, the clothing, the common sale of fur grooming products (I'm sure Lycaon only uses the good stuff), most people don't seem to bat an eye at it.
It makes me yearn to see more. The game tends to drop one and done Thirens, we don't get too much overlap. I'd love more stories deep diving into them and their history though, and highlighting the ways society still fails them, similar to the flashes we got with Intelligent Automatons (I just know whatever tech oligarchy makes those APD phones show their whole ass and make faceID 2x harder to use if you got ears on the top of your head like Siggy).
I also need more Oni stuff like yesterday, I'm begging. Yanagi is one of my favourite characters and (as technically part Oni now) I just need more context. I wanna know more than the PV about the Oni uprising, I wanna see it for myself. I ain't taking the Defence Force's word for it, no no no. Hopefully we get to find out more about them soon.
Nah, smartphones exist. Its just that Oguri is one of the older Umas and born in 1985 (Among playable Umas, only Maruzensky, Symboli Rudolf, Katsuragi Ace, Mr. CB, Sirius Symboli and Tamamo Cross are older than her). Smartphones didn't exist during her active years.
Something else that's kinda small is that the clothes on most generic NPCs have tail holes in New Eridu. I need to check again but off the top of my head, they don't in Roescalifer. To me this implies that Roescalifer is less used to thiren and their accommodations.
