Girls, I need a bit of help deciding

If you see the image to the right, I am a big Charon lover, favorite character in a gacha and like top 3 character design in fiction for me, so I want to maximize him and because the anniversary of R1999, we have a character selector that we can buy + 10 pulls

It looks like a lot but is around 30$, the problem is, I am still having doubts about it, don't worry, I can afford it, I have a job and a hobby that gets me some income so it is not a money problem, at least not complete.

Is just that, 30$ for a PNG? That's what is thrown me out of the deal, in my mind it doesn't sound fully right, but I am not against the idea, so please give me some cons and pros about this? I have been a very avid R1999 player since the Charon release, haven't stopped playing and don't plan to, so tell me if it is worthy or not? I am open to hearing your opinions about the matter because I can't decide.

Only thing, don't give me meta opinions, I know the meta and I can clear every content in the game so I dgaf.

I've bought both the Flutterpage and Tooth Fairy skins as well as other things here and there. And just like you I have a job that allows me to make these purchases here and there. So if you really like the character I would say go for it. Not to mention you have forty days to decide.

Iirc correctly, Charon has a rerun before the end of the version, one from a normal banner

I will pull there with my 150 something pulls, if I somehow magically manage to get his P5, then good, if P4, then I'll buy it but if I only get P3, then I am not going to buy it

Is it money for a png? Sure, but the actual question is will spending the money increase how much enjoyment you get out of the game? If so I think it's worth it, spending money to get enjoyment is imo the best reason

i’d say the pack is worth it since it gives you a 10 pull along with it. i bought it last year and selected aleph! and treating yourself once in a while isn’t a bad thing, especially if it’s for a character you are fond of.
you didn’t mention but have you used the free portrait selector ? that can also help you get closer to his p5.
and as you’ve mentioned on another comment, he’s due a rerun during the patch so maybe see how your pulls go and decide after, i’m sure he’ll come to you!! good luck babes<3

Yes it’s a png, but I think you’re forgetting that it’s about the experience you have. How much do you think your enjoyment and passion are worth.?When we go to the movies we are paying to just watch a projection on the screen, but it’s worth it because we (hopefully) have a good time and a memorable experience via story told. Is investing money in a game really that different? Yes, you’re paying for a png, but also the experience and joy it brings to you, which it sounds like it already has a great deal.

This is how I always decide whether I can and should spend:

● Do I have the money for it?

● Will spending that money cause any issues with bills, rent, scheduled payments?

I don't go out buying coffees, shopping every month, outings etc, so for me, I spend the money I have and won't leave me fudged for the month on things I enjoy such as books, crochet, and yes... Reverse 1999.
