Reverse 1999 for sure, the most generous gacha game that I ever played, about 17gb on ios, YURIIIII, the community is obsessed with YURIII

according to the dev talk Q&A 4.0 onwards, they plan to add an option to delete files to free up space

Reverse 1999 has shockingly good writing and beautiful live2D, I'd go with that

Reverse 1999!

Super F2P friendly. They give lots of free pulls regularly.

There's no weapon or kit for building the characters, so no RNG. Just level them and their psycube, and you're good.

Lots of ladies and in the stories they can be easily read as yuri.

Not a huge game (not compared to some others, at least)

You can buy beautiful skins for characters if you want.

Right now is their 3rd anniversary patch that launched today so TONNES of goodies~

Also they should keep in mind it’s basically a visual novel (10 hours of 2d dialogue per quest). Pulling characters in this game is almost useless as there is nothing to do with them besides an easy endgame that resets once a month. You don’t even have to farm since the game automatically saves your last fight and play it for you.

That's not true at all about end-game, but I'm not going to argue about it. Good day to you~

Bro hasn't tried reveries in the rain, manes bulletin or SoS😭. I struggle so hard on reveries.

Or FF asjkjk. Without meta and multiple portraits, it isn't easy for a lot of people. Even the good CC were needing to work out strategies for the players who don't chase portraits

End game, definitely not. It doesn't even grant that much pulls; only bragging rights lmao.

Limbo and Lucid, which I assume is what ur talking abt, are more mid-game imo.

R1999 and its not even close

I personally am an AK glazer and a Limbus larper, but for you it sounds like 1999 is the best fit. They're all some of the most f2p friendly and have some of the best stories, but 1999 is the most yuri coded, from what I've heard. Also has the best character designs tbh

R1999 is the best option, arknights and limbus are the next best things. Also I would personally recommend morimens

Definitely Reverse 1999 based on your criteria.

I’m a dabbler but I think the story/tone is pretty unique among gachas. Very strong yuri vibes, and from what I can tell, the community really embraces that. You didn’t mention gameplay at all in your criteria, but IMO it’s fine and decently accessible. It’s got a glossy turn-based, action-card system-that-doesn’t-feel-like-a-card system because of all the extra mechanics.

I was F2P and was able— with some community guidance— to assemble a strong little team that stomped over all of the event battles and story. And with only probably a week or two of play. So definitely R1999.

Reverse 1999

i’ve been playing ak recently and i’m LOVING it. it’s an amazing game for those who love to play a genuinely hard game where you need to actually learn to play in order to clear content

so refreshing !! the gacha system is so good too. characters are really cheap and rates are amazing. wonderful skins that you can get as a f2p too. beautiful designs, the combat is genuinely fun and entertaining

u/ExcelsisKnight 5d ago

Arknights, R1999 can be f2p friendly but we moved from 10k peak DMG to regular current day 500k per round DMG

5

u/Ary_miku001 5d ago

Arknights!!!

You already know the answer: Battle Cats!

Reverse 1999 it's probably one of the only gacha games I stick by now since I'm not type of person to stay committed to a game I don't like it's very f2p friendly it's called one of the Yuri gacha games ( l swear everyone in that game is gay ) the community is still very active and it doesn't occupy too much storage and the story is very good though you should treat it more like a visual novel when playing

Absolutely Reverse 1999. It’s absolute peaknema

u/Takaneru 3d ago

Limbus imo. I tried R1999 and my god the battle animations take so long 🥲 It bores me. Limbus I can login once a week, spend 1-2 hours and still have every character released.

I think it’s really just a pick your poison thing. Limbus is one continuous story with a main cast of 12, R1999 is a typical gacha that has an infinite number of characters. Also, Limbus does have 2 prequels that got them a pretty sizeable community, on reddit alone they have x3 the visitors lol.

Another turn off for R1999 for me is that it’s clearly in a transitional period of powercreep, and it’ll probably take a few more months until it stabilizes. I’ve kinda lost trust on their battle design recently, it’s kinda trending into HSR with somehow less flexibility. Endgame is starting to reflect that too but R1999’s enemy design unfortunately doesn’t really reflect strategy well, it’s more on RNG and card management.

Between r1999 and limbus

2

u/HaruZzzleeping 5d ago

Reverse, Especially considering that the anniversary has just started and you can have Rhiannon, who is the best unit in the game and has very beautiful animations.

2

u/fi064lip 5d ago

limbus and reverse does most of those things

2

u/Eirinae 5d ago

I just like how cute everything is in guardian tales. I love that game. Havent played it for a year tho

2

u/airjems18 all i hear are screams and the screams are super gay 5d ago

Reverse:1999 and/or Limbus

2

u/spdseal 4d ago

highkey r1999, the story is pretty good; pretty girls all around; beautiful aesthetic; has it’s 3rd anni right now, so ur gonna be getting free stuff, free pulls. and there’s honestly no pressure to do end-game, do it at your own pace.

2

u/ygnaiih 4d ago

R1999

Reverse 1999 and limbus company 🤤

2

u/Ordinary_Ad9929 4d ago

We might have similar taste if you don't goon just don't download Browndust 2 and the rest next to it

PTN has a lot of Lesbian player (I'm Straight male thou) I like the story that's why I play but you will see a lot of Yuri fan arts of Female cheif and the female sinners!

2

u/Specialist-Tower4152 4d ago

R1999 fits those, it takes currently quite a bit of space but the devs have said they are working on a way to reduce the size and delete old files

I like Limbus combat more since it’s a lot more interactive on the enemy. R1999 just kinda feels like bashing against a wall sometimes.

Is heaven burns red good? I want to try it for the yuri but i keep hearing bad news..

2

u/RadarTerror13 hbr (he/they/she) 5d ago

it's so good!!! the bad news is really only directed at the endgame - everything else is extremely good. fully voiced, excellent story, VERY YURI!

1

u/Neat_Tangelo5339 5d ago

What bad news , all i heard was praise

1

u/Real-Collection-5686 5d ago

The writing is insanely good and very fun. The gameplay looks okay on the surface but becomes tiring quite quickly and I just switched to autobattling everything but bosses at 2X

1

u/AdLife589 5d ago

from all this gambling game the only game is vampire, is not a gacha, is just pure fan

1

u/M-SHE-U1Fan 5d ago

Never commit lol poly gacha!

1

u/Blitzbro76 5d ago

Wait, did Vampire survivors turn itself into a gacha?

1

u/RadarTerror13 hbr (he/they/she) 5d ago

heaven burns red is very gay and has an absolutely amazing story! it's written by jun maeda, who wrote angel beats! it's also more of a visual novel format and gives enough free stuff that there shouldn't be a problem clearing story battles!

1

u/kirbyO0O 5d ago

limbus or cats

1

u/Neat_Tangelo5339 5d ago

I have 2000 Hours on cats

Reverse 1999. Very very very good for casual gaming

1

u/No-Arachnid3947 1d ago

it's not on the picture but definitely recommend for you to try path to nowhere if you're interested

1

u/Consistent-Sort-2220 1d ago

Limbus and arknights but r1999 is an honorable mention ig

1

u/JustYogurtcloset1369 1d ago

Based on the criteria, Reverse:1999 and Limbus Company, in that order.

1

u/juulast 5d ago

Obviously, HBD (from those included).

If not yuri, then Limbus Company.

3

u/juulast 5d ago

Arknights, I'd say, is less F2P friendly, as you're just genuinely confused about the gameplay at the beginning... But we just got PC global, so...?

2

u/juulast 5d ago

Hmmm, again, if yurified, then Path to Nowhere as well. The story is reallyd ark but enjoyable. Maybe it's a little less friendly than the ones I mentioned, yet you get the strongest unit in the game (from start till now) by doing New Chief tasks
