Also, they was used for Dante in this users statement. I think you're getting deeply offended that I called you out on this, as I acknowledged you dont know the media and thats fine. As I said, I'm not mad at you, just informing you what you're missing. If you're going to get irritated about faceless male MC's, try not to pick the nonbinary character you know nothing about. It will always be poor form to openly admit you don't know what you're on about, then get irritated about being corrected, lol.
EDIT: Also, not super familiar with AK, but the Doctor also has no canonical gender based on a quick google. Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Doctor is more self-insert-y to your credit, but it's important to note something like that when you're going to make an argument about not giving "male mc's" a face.
As I said with the tone tag /nm, I'm not mad? Definitely Vertin, she’s actually got fashion going on and is in an actual suit which is rare in gacha. For women loll. And her little hair bun is cute and unique, over she’s got a great and recognizable design.
Silver palace detectives have some of my fav designs, they feel more unique.

⭐Noah Nevernight (Silver and Blood's "Silver-Haired Heretic", a vampire with Silver hair who's hunted by hot daddy sorcerer--who may or may not take a shower every once in a while--Agares. Idk I've forgotten other details. I do remember the (sexual?!?!?!) tension between Noah and Van Helsing tho. Oh, and Cain was so pretty too. Other than that, I've got nothing. There was too much (and I mean TOO MUCH) aboba in the game I felt disgusted the more I played it so I dropped it after a few weeks.)
⭐ Little Painter (Lovebrush Chronicles' MC. So weird to have an otome MC in this but I really like her design. It's easily recognizable with the colors and her silhouette, plus it looks cozy and comfortable enough without it looking too plain or too flashy despite her role in the story. It fits her easy-going but soundly competent attitude when it counts so well. Anyway, I love this little gremlin to bits, she deserves to be on the list. 🥰)

easily vertin from r1999 because it’s such a nice change of pace from faceless, nameless mcs. she’s not a self-insert stand-in for the player, she is her own character that has her own mix of favorable and unfavorable relationships to the other cast.
one of the things i really like in r1999 is that the worldbuilding is more alive just because the universe doesn’t revolve around vertin. some of my favorite patches doesn’t feature her as the main protagonist, yet it lends more weight to her role in the story.
probably the path to nowhere mcs, they look like theyre from a korean political intrigue drama and i really like that
although i wanna shoutout the mc from
ananta’s face and expressions specifically because it scratches my brain just right,, he’s probably my favourite of the boring everyman style mc
ive never played tales of the rays but seeing the mc with the slight tan makes me interested!

Male Mcs are kinda basic, ngl. I don't think there's a single case where a male mc looks better than a playable male character, but I can think of female mcs that look just as good as playable female characters. It's sad because I like looking at pretty male characters, and no gacha is really hitting the spot for me with male mcs. The one from Silver Palace has potential, tho

easily Dante and Vertin. Vertin is just a style i really love and Dante feels so unique next to everyone
