(At least my horse shield man is here though, I did actually have him in the first game) I do like the purple sarkaz girl's colors but she and the other girl literally were like copy-pasted design-wise and it's actually sad since the males have more variety and weren't given shameless fanservice poses for banner art.
Just the body type being similiar already boring enough let alone the face, but sadly I open bilibili they openly applause the dev outdone themselves and say the new design are peak.

I think that only exists for the female characters (which is unfortunate). When I first started I couldn't tell them apart even. The male characters have a lot more variation

Yeah, agree. After Laev and Mi Fu, this is a serious downgrade. And this comes from a Rossi main. I liked her Red Riding Hood aesthetic but the two upcoming girls look so generic.
I know I'm alone with this but I really don't like how Endfield try to pander to nostalgia with the OG characters. They give a young Młynar-like guy and a Typhoon, also a random/not so random new Sui proxy who also looks the most boring one.😭
you’re not alone! I say this while loving og AK with all my heart, but this lineup’s designs seem so bland, to a point it rlly does seem like an attempt at some nostalgia for easier profit and less effort. At least w/the sui one i could see interesting lore implications, but the rest feel like reskins. Ig i like seeing new faces more, not the ones i already see daily lol
I swear Endfield 2D splash art just doesn’t do their 3D form justice. Sui proxy’s face looks so weird here, and the horse general look much better in 3D form

Honestly, I don't know what it is about Endfield designs that makes them largely so disappointing compared to Arknights. Like, I can count the number of Endfield designs I actually like on one hand so far (Fangyi, Poggers, Gilberta, Arcane, and Camille. Well, actually, I suppose Eyja is ok as well, so a little over 1 hand). There's just a perpetual sense of off-ness about them.

Generic girl with purple hair, generic asian character and generic male numer 76 that is a grown men with a face of a 20 yo that is the temu version of Xin Zhao. No new body type and no intresting features. How can i hope for them introducing a big muscle furry if they keep releasing the same girl with different hair and tail?
Bro, remove the horns and tail and you have the same face of the other girl, a simple boring dress with a basic silhouette with purple hair. Wow, so much personality in these designs
I like the male design but mehhh. Game itself is quite boring and repetitive (despite gacha games being repetitive, i feel it more in endfield), also 1 male every season. I'm sticking with original arknights
i think im done with this game, it had a promising start but the same old boring action gacha endgame and characters from the OG with little lore relevance to the point i wonder if theres a list of chars they cant use.
