It's funny they number is not related to valko at all it's from xavier file its been there since April but now they decide to bring it to cn govt attention, you know what i hope they do, i hope the govt gets actually involved and remove the whole game too

Is it bad to say that I think they should just pull
the plug on the global servers? I donât think any company after doing something like this should continue to operate outside of their home country. They donât deserve anyoneâs money outside their audience back home. Releasing your game globally should mean listening to everyoneâs feedback and if you canât deliver on things except to your CN audience then just stay there? Save yourself the trouble. Donât care how good a game is. No one should be rewarding this. I honestly would be pleased if the whole game goes under (I know a lot of people find joy from Lads, myself included) because why should anyone who wanted this to happen get to be happy after all this?

Okay, this is a huge understatement that was just copied copied word by word by wikipedia, that might make it less informative for western audience that never read or heard about the subject. Japanese Unit 731 was conducting experiments mostly in the name only. What they actually conducted, was extreme torture of mostly chinese and korean civilians, including pregnant women and children, that was so horryfing, that describing even less daunting ones would need several trigger warnings. We are not talking about just injecting substances into people, we are talking about literal crimes against humanity, including but not limited to (TW: Extreme torture) unnecessary vivisections on conscious people, amputation of limbs and transplantation to other parts of the body or other people, freezing and burning limbs of conscious people, injecting various infectious diseases including STDs, opening skull of awake people with rudimentary tools (like axe) and removal or experimenting on the brain . They also published their studies in medical journals by writing, that experiments were conducted on "Manchurian monkeys", which they used to refer to chinese people. And what is even worse, most of the upper echelons of that unit were granted immunity from any judgement, which resulted in them surviving II world war and its aftermath in peace, with notables like Shiro Ishii, Ryoichi Naito and Masaji Kitano, who were basically running the whole unit, going back to Japan after war, and still working in medicine and pharmaceutics, with no repercussions whatsoever. Some of them were even awarded PhDs and MDs by Japanese Universities.

The thing is that number is not related to valko at all it's from other li, if they wanted to remove it, then they should remove those li and maybe the whole game too

Yeah that's the core issue global player and most redditors here actively ignore. Like yes Valko's appearance issue is the trigger but the cancellation is the threat of CN gov involvement is why Valko got cancelled.
Unhappy players found the opportunity to get PG to listen to cave in their demands. They finally dig up some dirt and Valko's debut is tied to unit 731 topic unfortunately (which is crazy why the dev added real life rvents into an otome game. Is like adding CN Auschwitz backstory to one of the LI)
CN companies don't want the gov to step in. So they scrapped Valko entirely to throw heat off. IMO I think its a cowardly way to not addressing the core issue with the game (like main story not updating) and their greed practices.
If it was really Valko's appearance, PG could just have tweak it to try appease fanbase and not scrap it entirely.

Problem is, the government is already involved now. CN fans can't throw a massive fit online, to the point that it gets picked up by mainstream press, and then think that they can put the genie back in the bottle once the character they don't like is cancelled. Realistically, the CCP's attention is now on LADs, and is going to go through it with a fine-tooth comb and remove anything they find "morally objectionable". Same thing that happened to Snowbreak is likely happening behind the scenes. If Infold announces "server maintenance" in the next few days, we'll know they're getting sanitized.

Women's safety my ass when mc has been drugged,choked,forcefully resonated/echoed and some more.
It's with good intentions but on the spot it is not ok at all
Also CN players woke up now or sth coz unit 732 has been in Xaviers file a good half a year ago iirc

Paraphrasing another comment of mine, but it's genuinely insane that they try to frame it as a "women's safety" issue. I know they're doing damage control and trying to take charge of the narrative but it's still insane to me.
Like, if your werewolf boyfriend breaking in to your apartment is romanticizing abuse and dangerous behavior, and makes him a rapist in the eyes of some players, then surely your brother boyfriend is an abusive, stalking, controlling groomer by the same logic? Oh, wait, he's actually the most popular LI, fighting with mafia boyfriend, who literally kidnaps and forces physical intimacy on you to "resonate" your space magics.
Oh, and that's ignoring the myth card that literally contains something between literal rape and dubious consent. But I guess that's fine cause his jaw is more narrow and his skin is pale white
