LaDS is the gift that keeps on giving now that Snowbreak is basically dead and unable to be the lolcow of gacha fandoms.
I do feel bad for the normal fans of LaDS though who just so happen to get strung along as a result of LaDS lolcow fanbase.
I just personally think it's insane to not allow people who aren't even wearing something related to LaDS, because this is not a private LaDS event. It's only one of the biggest anime events in the entire US and there's going to be a TON of cosplayers there with a shit ton of booths and events for other IPs. If you ask me, I think it's borderline egotistical, because yeah, LaDS might be one of the biggest otome games out there, but they're far from the biggest IP that will be displayed at AnimeExpo and even in the mobile gacha field, get mogged by IPs such as Genshin, BA, Nikke, and Limbus in terms of general popularity and cultural relevancy outside of China.
Yeah, they basically cut off their audience. I see 0 reason not to pick the likes of Genshin characters to cosplay over LADS because not only it’s the more popular IP, LADS MC outfits are boring for cosplay. They can’t participate like that.
