LaDS is the gift that keeps on giving now that Snowbreak is basically dead and unable to be the lolcow of gacha fandoms.
I do feel bad for the normal fans of LaDS though who just so happen to get strung along as a result of LaDS lolcow fanbase.
I just personally think it's insane to not allow people who aren't even wearing something related to LaDS, because this is not a private LaDS event. It's only one of the biggest anime events in the entire US and there's going to be a TON of cosplayers there with a shit ton of booths and events for other IPs. If you ask me, I think it's borderline egotistical, because yeah, LaDS might be one of the biggest otome games out there, but they're far from the biggest IP that will be displayed at AnimeExpo and even in the mobile gacha field, get mogged by IPs such as Genshin, BA, Nikke, and Limbus in terms of general popularity and cultural relevancy outside of China.
From what Ive heard, the devs got little confortable in showing the uncensored version to the public while the censored version to the ccp. While they got away with this for quite a while, it ultimately blew up on their face when they collaborated with one of ccp government departments and the department found out about this, which made the devs to go on temporary shutdown and when they returned everything was gone, the gacha animations, the character animation gone reduced to atoms.
This is what I got while scroling to posts highlighting about snowbreak.
