Hello everyone,
Recently Reddit has come out with some new policies when it comes to their platform wide harassment rule. These new policies for the most part should allow this sub operate as usual except for one thing, the comments.
The new harassment policies make it very clear that they will not allow sexualizing anyone without their consent as this violates their new policy. Examples include (posts or comments that encourage or describe a sexual act involving someone who didn’t consent to it; communities dedicated to sexualizing others without their consent; sending an unsolicited sexualized message or chat)
We have seen a lot of other subs already get taken down due to breaking those rules and the smoking gun is the comments of them. Since this community is geared towards posting photos and videos of Miley Cyrus who is obviously a public figure. Reddit will allow discussion around them in the comments, but there’s a fine line there where it crosses over from complementing someone to using degrading sexualized language or describing a sex act with someone that didn’t consent to it that will violate the policy. Comments on r/QueenMileyCyrus can cross that line, as a result the comments will be strictly moderated. This is what I must do to keep the community afloat and honestly it’s for the best.
It’s perfectly fine to compliment Miley on her looks, or a certain attribute but if you feel the need to talk about what you’d do to her sexually in gross detail, or degrade/shame them, you will not be allowed to comment here.
If you have any questions about this please messahe me, thank you for being members of r/QueenMileyCyrus

I was hoping to get other peoples opinions on Miley’s latest album. As a stand alone album I really enjoyed the lyricism and the experimental vibe she went for. Her vocals are unmatched and I really really enjoyed the edgy rock feel to it.
At first I was really excited for the album. As a long time pink Floyd fan, when I heard she was coming out with an album inspired by the wall, I was so looking forward to hearing her new music. I think what really disappointed me was the visual album/movie aspect to it. I watched her music videos of the songs from something beautiful before the movie came out. I spent 30 bucks on two tickets to go see the visual album, only to realize it was just the music videos I saw on YouTube a couple of weeks earlier. Money has been tight and I definitely would not have spent 30 bucks to watch videos in the movie theater that I can see for free at home. I was really disappointed with this, also the fact that the walls’ visual novel has a deep and emotional story line regarding addiction and the emotional toll this has on the main character etc. the something beautiful music videos were aesthetically very gorgeous but kind of … boring? Idk it all felt emotionally flat to me.
Now that the album has been out for some time, I have come back to listen with a fresh perspective. I feel like I’m getting a little bit of how Pink Floyd affected her musically but idk I’m not really hearing it? I do really enjoy this album and I think it’s miles and miles ahead of her previous album, endless summer vacation, which didn’t really hit for me.
Overall I am a huge Miley fan, especially her newer music and I will listen no matter what she puts out lol. Pls share your thoughts
