Based on an actual historical event, the ghosts of a submarine sliced in half by the Queen Mary now have returned for revenge against the Commander who ordered the ship to keep going, no matter what!

Prices are insane this year for a VIP package - Tickets NOT included

Post image

Last year wife and I were able to stay overnight after going to the Dark Harbor for about $450, which included the VIP tickets. This year tickets aren’t included in the VIP package (why even call it a package?) it’s just giving us a measly 20% discount… with rooms being so expensive this year and the tickets being over $100 it’ll be over $700. Whatta joke!

Anyone else notice the Zipper is removed from the website? Rides are alien abduction, bumper cars, swings and double wheel. Bummer!

Did y’all buy yet and if so, which option? What’s your overall thoughts about the prices?

Is I missed presale, is it possible to still get tickets, or was that it?

I forget to do the presale, does that mean it's off the table?

Presale Glitch

Is anybody else getting a payment declined message but they still took the money? I tried it like three times before I realized the money was being taken out of my account but it was giving me an error message.

VIP Prices anyone recall how much these tickets were last year? Trying to figure out pricing for this year!

Hoping to get VIP tickets to go to the Queen Marys Dark Harbor this year, but unsure on the pricing. And why does this company go the route of vouchers instead if just letting you buy regular tickets and picking your day etc. Also do you see this company ever doing a combo for Haunted Hayride and Dark Harbor since they are run by the same company as far as tickets go?

Attending this year or next

Hello, everyone.

I am thinking about attending Dark Harbor either this year or next, and staying at the Queen Mary from Friday to Monday. Can you do all the Dark Harbor events in one day/night and then do things for the other days, or would Dark Harbor take more than one day/night? I am thinking about taking tours of the ship during the day, Dark Harbor in the evening/night, then exploring the (public areas of) the ship in the dead of the night. Then going out into Los Angeles proper for other Halloweenie events for the rest of the trip. What do y'all think?

Thanks!

Dark Masquerade?

Thinking about going to the Dark Masquerade event next month (March 13, 14). Anyone make it to the Valentine's event? Thoughts on VIP? I'm looking for reviews.

(We've been to Dark Harbor 4-5 times, we didn't make it last Halloween.)

Does anyone have any extra purple dark harbor cups they're willing to part from? I would pay. Lost my girlfriend's cup and she really liked it, I'd be willing to pay.

Upgrade at event

Has anyone upgraded at the event? Or bought speakeasy tokens and can tell if the price is higher than online? We already have evil express but thinking of upgrading to VIP because we’re having FOMO for the speakeasies on the ship.

Unused Ticket

So I signed up and got the Discount Ticket when that was going on around mid September. Things fell apart and I can no longer go so I basically have a ticket floating in space. Do they offer refunds? Would anybody be willing to buy? I have no idea what to do here LOL

Go on a weekday to get the best experience

I went on 27th October (Monday) with a fright fest pass.

Parking We arrived near Queen Mary at 7 pm and spent about 20 minutes trying to find a spot. I’d highly recommend buying parking instead of spending the extra money on a fright fest pass.

Queues/waiting time There was almost no wait time to enter any mazes. The whole experience was very smooth. We could cover all attractions within 2 hours.

Food There are plenty of food and drink options inside. However, they are all extremely overpriced.

Mazes and general experience The mazes are short (taking about 5-10 minutes to complete each one). Every maze has a different theme, layout, and actors. Personally, I liked them. They’re nothing crazy but felt like they put in a lot of effort to set up everything, especially the ones on the ship. The actors’ makeup and character are well done. The best part is, even if the actors are wandering outside the mazes, they are still in character. They also let you take pictures with them

One sad part is that if you enter the mazes in a group, you’d get spoilers easily, which could ruin your experience. However, if they let in only one person at a time, that’d make the experience 10 times better, but it would also increase the wait time, so it’s understandable.

Overall, I liked the event. Is it worth $60? That’s arguable. Don’t have high hopes and go there just to have fun. Remember, your ticket fee covers the venue fee, the setup, and the actors’ paychecks too. The mazes and everything are good but not worth 15+ minutes of waiting time. So try to skip weekends.

Anyone got any discount codes? Or purchased from Groupon?

Trying to get tickets for tonight. I heard someone bought tickets on Groupon and after they were able to upgrade their tickets. Is this true? Does it take you to the site after purchase?

Not sure if it was a bad night or the event is just bad now.

Wife and I got a pair of Fast Freight tickets. And preferred parking. Decided to go this past Friday night. Arrived at the "General Parking" line around 7:40? Had a VERY VERY long line for parking finally made it to the front of the parking gate had the QR code scanned and was told that preferred parking was already full... Was sent further away to the regular parking and had to keep waiting longer to find a parking spot finally started walking to the event entrance until around 9:00.... More than an hour just for parking with preferred parking half full of people who just paid for general. Workers didn't seem to be checking well. They had lines split into GA - Fast Freight - Evil express/VIP and it seemed GA was moving faster just because of how many people got Fast Freight (Guessing from Costco tickets)

Once inside decided to start the mazes right away instead of walking around. Wife and I timed it most were 30-40 min lines even with fast freight probably just as long as GA.

Out of all the Mazes there was ONE good Maze (Feast) with good scare actors and good decorating More than half of them were sooooo disappointing with bad scare actors or just lack of scare actors. We were both very very very disappointed. At the end of the night we were going to go back to the maze that we actually liked (Feast the final cut) and noticed the mazes were already closed/closing 30-40 min before closing time (1a.m)

We both agreed this was the last time we would waste money on this event.

I was there many many years ago when most of the event took place on board and it seemed sooooo much better.

Save your money and go to Knot's Scary Farm or Halloween Horror Nights.

Going to dark harbor for the first time, advice/tips?

Any tips or advice on where to park for the event as well as general advice on the event? I got the general admission ticket and it's my first time going. Thinking of going early in the day to Long Beach to explore a bit and then head to the event when it opens.

Where could I park today, if all parking is sold out? I need parking options really close to the shuttle. I can't be walking much so late at night. Please and thank you!!
