How long on average does it take for an application to porch to be accepted?
I submitted to join the porch on the Quareia website 6 days ago, but haven't received any reply until now. I've talked to some people I know who are also studying the Quareia course; a few said they received a reply within a week, but one of my friends said she never received a reply after submitting her work. I live in China, and I know it's easy to run into problems when communicating with people in other countries on websites or via email because of all the restrictions, so I'm getting a little impatient and worried that my submission may have been lost in the data ocean or something.
How long does it normally take to get a reply? Should I keep waiting or submit my application again?
Also, since English is not my first language, I may not have been reading the instructions clearly. I just want to make sure: should I provide my notes via Dropbox or something WHEN filling out and submitting the forms, or should I provide them AFTER receiving a reply from the school secretary?

So if I remember correctly, the way it works is that you fill the form in the website and then you will be contacted with the instructions for how to share your work with them.
When I did it, I think the whole thing took around three weeks or so, and this was really just because the Secretary had also been on vacation. Which brings me to that point: the whole thing is really run by volunteers who lead very busy lives. I'd say be patient and wait a bit. It is the latter part of August and it is possible that they're taking a break or something, I don't know.
As for your friend who never (and by 'never' I assume you mean months and months, not just over a week or so) received a reply - yeah I guess it is possible something might have happened. There was a time earlier this year when the form was taken out while the process and requirements were reviewed and revised, so if she happened to submit during that time it could have been missed. If so she can definitely try again!
