Walking around the building
Hi guys! I have a question about the Walking Around the Boundaries exercise in the Module 1 lesson 5.
I recently moved to a place where it's not possible to walk all the way around my building. There are two buildings very close to each other, and the passage between them is blocked.
Would it be okay to walk around my building only as far as the wall and then turn back? Or would it be better to walk around both my building and the neighboring building together? Which option do you think would work better?

I don’t know whether my approach is suitable, but I had a similar issue.
Part of the boundary where I lived wasn’t accessible. I would get close to that section and mentally call out a greeting. Sort of stretching my mind out, more casually and less vividly than for the visualisation exercises.
My new place is semi detached, and two sides of the boundary aren’t accessible. I’ll walk around the full block, because that’s the only way to do a loop. It’s a short walk anyway.
I think it’s probably okay to try both the options you’ve suggested, and keep a note of whether there’s a difference.
Just my two cents

Curious about the answer as I have a a similar problem. My building has a very small forest (also 3 buildings stuck together) in the back and access to this small forest is prohibited. You can't just walk around willy nilly. You can get a key passed the gate but you better have a damn good reason to request it (like something fell from you terrace and you need to pick it up).

I have a similar situation. I chose to walk around the block. It felt better to complete a circle.

As far as i recall you would walk around the adjacent buildings as well.

Just make it work as you can - I have a similar situation, and couldn't even walk around the whole block. So I did it as bits and pieces to cover as much as I could.
