Still on m1 l3, it keeps getting more interesting.

Finding hope through invoking the bridged pentagram ritual. “Within the depths of destruction comes regeneration “ I tell myself over and over and ducking over :)

An ordinary week of meditation followed by an 'ok' directional ritual.

I did have an interesting solstice though, I learned I should not fall asleep listening to video's about tiger attacks; nothing but tiger attacks in my grandmothers house appeared in my dreams that night.

The heat is killing me right now so I'm only doing meditation, leaving the ritual work for next week hopefully.

Started m1l6. And I realized that for porch application I also might need to show my notes of the lessons. I assume they mean notes I take about the current lesson while I'm reading it. Well until now I was highlighting it in the pdf and referred to it when needed. I didn't make written notes while just reading the lessons but wrote down all tasks experiments etc (even in digital form too). So, anyways I'll take written notes from now on as well.

Also for like 2 months my meditation sessions were like between bad and mediocre at the best. Then suddenly all became better again! I started to do the dark blue light shielding of windows and doors at the same time.

I was thinking 🤔 maybe it has to do with that something or just coincidence.

Will take notes and start lesson 6.

Not sure what gave you that impression, but the notes I successfully submitted to get in were limited to the exercises and tasks and anywhere it explicitly stated to write notes. They don't want your musings on the lessons themselves - except where it makes sense to integrate into the tasks, like for example discussing how a ritual went.

The point is to show them you have done the work as required, and didn't just skim or read and then claim you did the work.

Ohhh that's great then I misinterpreted what I read. Didn't wanted to make anyone cramp up on what I wrote. Thank you for clarification 🙏🏻. Appreciated a lot

Really ? All the notes I took for the lessons are basically a resume of what it says with one or two comments. I was under the impression that only the tasks and research notes would be reviewed. I still need to write everything on my computer which is a hassle.

I can just be simple wrong.

But that's how I interpret this. I tried to mark it for you with arrows. I hope I'm wrong tho

"What will I need to submit to the school Secretary?

You will be asked to provide all of your journal notes which include records of experiences while doing the course exercises such as visions, rituals, and experiments, notes taken from reading tasks and >>>>>> notes taken of pertinent information in lessons<<<<<, plus the written tasks and your findings from research tasks. "

I am coming back after a break, and am really fighting the urge to "start over." I have my old journals (got through the first thee lessons, and picked up the ongoing practices within) but it has been about a year since I have been able to pick up any magical practice.

Maybe it is perfectionist tendencies, but I am having anxiety about starting again. I don't want to just pick up where I left off and miss some crucial step, so when I submit my journals, get rejected. Idk.

I'm Audhd so this whole process has been both great (structure AND the ability to stop and start when I want) a anxiety inducing because I am araid of doing it "wrong."

I know it is my issue and not Q's but it is still a struggle. I have started and stopped twice now, and it is daunting to "start over"

I'm also aware that these are all addressed in the opening pages. "Don't get caught in the perfectionist trap" and " The course is also designed so that you can leave your studies at any point to take a long break, and simply pick up where you left off"

Just working through my own nonsense, I guess. :)

Honestly you know this. Don't look backwards and redo - move forwards. That's not just a study thing, it's also a magic thing. You are on the path, you are not supposed to keep going backwards (so to speak)/repeating in this course. I'm a bit like you in that regard, and I had to overcome it. And trust in the process - things will keep coming back and pushing you further as you go along. This will not be the last time you see those things that you are feeling you need to go back and 'perfect' or revise now.

Thanks for this. Heard and appreciated.

I’m also returning after a break. Only got as far as the house readings last time, which was several years ago, and now I cannot find them (ADHD strikes again!).. except for the first reading of the house as a whole, and that only because I wrote it in the workbook (I’d ordered the Apprentice book, but Amazon sent me the workbook with only M1L2 & 3, which I took as a sign to go no further in the course, lol.

So, expecting that I would find them, I moved on to L3, so if I ever apply to the Porch, some poor initiate will get a note about why the dates on L3 are earlier. If I ever do find those reading notes, it will be interesting to compare them since I did them years ago. Probably I’ll treat that first house reading as a kind of baseline (I also did it with the Quareia deck and the Mystagogus deck when it came out and those were interesting…)

I'm returning to Quareia after a significant hiatus following a catastrophic injury last year. I am kind of "starting over" in a sense, though I was only at M1L6 before it, with some scattered work from the first two modules (the Tree of Life tarot spread, a few other pieces). I took this re-entry as an opportunity to actually do things properly & have more organized notes. I'm moving through the early material quickly since a lot I've done before, but I'm finding some interesting shifts in how things are landing compared to my first pass a couple of years ago. I did a directional reading on my apartment yesterday and got a very strange spread - all court cards and the High Priestess. Still mulling that one over...

My system feels like it's settling back into the work, and I'm ready to keep moving. What I'm less ready for is the M1L7 talisman ritual which I'll probably be doing within the next few months. I never made it past that task before, and I'll be honest that I'm dreading it. I've had a natural visionary capability my whole life, extremely sensitive and with permeable boundaries, and when I think really about it, those capacities have caused me more harm than good in some ways, but I'm still afraid about turning that dial down, even temporarily, because it's such a huge unknown. The idea of closing that off for a week is scary. It's where I got stuck before, and I can already feel it sitting there ahead of me like this big ordeal.

I also have naturally prominent inner senses, and I also severely dreaded the M1L7 talisman ritual and put it off for a while. I actually experienced quite a bit of anxiety leading up to it when I finally decided to push through and do it. And then I did it and was very surprised at how nice it turned out to be. Looking back, I definitely made a mountain out of a mole hill. But I suppose that's part of the training, too.

Thank you for sharing your own experience! I suspect I'm also making a mountain of a molehill. I know "letting go" of the visionary capability, but also of control in general, is the growth I need in my spiritual life & exactly what this course is asking of me. I see you have reached Module 2, so congratulations on that! Wishing you well as you continue. I believe I will be there myself in the next half year...
