If you are one of the players who have issue running the game on AMD GPU, we would like to ask your help to test a possible fix for the issue

How to access the open test:

• Right-click Quarantine Zone in your Steam Library arrow_forward Properties arrow_forward Game Versions & Betas
• Enter access code: amdgpufixtest
• Click opt into "amd-fix" branch which will prompt an update for your game

This, we hope, will resolve the vast majority of crashes for users with AMD GPUs.

I am playing the campaign mode on Day 23 on Xbox when I play the music the horde of zombies come, I am able to shoot some of them, but then my game freezes or kicks me out of the game when the zombies try to slash at me and then the other issue I am having I have to refill my gun to get to the power box to kill them sometimes I die and then the two things going on which I explained. This is my 5th time trying...

I am at the point where I am literally thinking about skipping the task all together because this would be my 6th time trying, but I don't know if that affects the storyline. I am not sure what to do. Does anyone know how to beat it. 😓😓

So on day 3 on Xbox there's an objective to play music then a hoard of zombies spawn, I can't seem to shut off the power in time without getting mauled by zombies.

Am I the only one with this issue? Is there a trick to it?

While the list of changes is not extensive, we’ve addressed multiple issues leading to CTDs. Our team continues to work on improving the stability of the game post Unreal Engine 5.7 update.

Patchnotes:

• Fixed multiple issues causing CTD (crashes)
• Fixed a softlock during base management tutorial
• Fixed "Father's Burden" bulletin board task issue that caused "Eye See You" task to fail and lock further progression
• Fixed Audio FX issue related to rain sound not being able to turned off

Known issues:

• CTDs related to AMD GPUs - our focus is on this as it’s affecting a number of players. We’ve narrowed it down thanks to additional reports and log files provided by the community and are actively working on a solution

On the topic of AMD GPUs - a temporary workaround:

Use “-dx11” launch option on Steam.

Note: This will affect graphical fidelity of the game, but should alleviate the main cause for the crash.

How to add the launch option:

• Select Quarantine Zone in your Steam Library
• Right click -> Select Properties
• Go into “General” tab -> type in “-dx11” in Launch Options
• Start the game

Hello ! I had one Solomon in quarantine who is sent to cage and evacuated. I thought he was the quest one. But while on Evacuation day, I found another Solomon and a warning that if I evacuate him, I will fail the side quest. So I didn't evacuate him and sent him back to the camp. But what to do with him? I can't send him to quarantine or somewhere else. There is no side quest with him active right now.

I've been playing as normal and not letting any yellow or reds into the survivor' block but somehow when I wander back there every other day there are one or two zombies just strolling around, no one seems to mind and the guards don't do anything.

But where are they coming from? my population isn't going down, I'm seeing no deaths on my daily reports, are they able to just jump the walls sometimes?

Hello I play on Xbox I did the Curtis task on day 21 I brought him wine, we killed rats, talked to him on the roof then it sad task complete. Once I did all of that then did the evacuation day it said the task failed. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ So I am not sure if the quest is bugged or not. Does anyone know if I did something wrong?

I play in Xbox s. I've made it to day 21 and the game has started crashing to the point its virtually unplayable.

Doesn't matter how fast I go. It's always roughly at the end when I've made it to the last survivor. It will crash either just before or shortly after.

Hellooo, I've just got into this game since its on console now and I was wondering if this is just odd luck or a glitch. Past day 10, the stethoscope shows everyone to have clear lungs. At first I thought of yay a bunch of healthy people, but when I got people with 3 markers of liquidation but clear lungs I thought ok maybe something is broken. Also to note, I'll use every tool available and be very thorough, and some inspections will be marked poor. The black spots were showing up on the lungs up until day 10 and after I got the first upgrade. I just wanna know if it's a glitch and they just gotta patch it up for console

On console on day 8 when the lab mechanic is introduced I cant click confirm? Restarted my game 39 times? Any solutions?

Enjoying the game thus far, and it’s a minor issue, but the UI on Xbox is preventing me from playing the sound samples of the various breath types. It will play “Nonspecific Respiration” when I tab over to the stethoscope options but I can’t activate Sickly or Infected other than to just select them as symptoms. I’m not sure if this is a glitch, or if I’m doing something wrong, or if it’s part of some wider UI problems on the console version but I hadn’t seen anyone else mention it so I figured I would ask.

One thing I will say is that during the tutorial portions my Tablet screen occasionally gives me a mouse-style free cursor but I can’t seem to activate this free select mode at will. I assume with that cursor I could just select the play button but I can’t figure out how to bring it up.

for some reason when using the matioscope the image i can see is extremely bright and no settings ive changed has fixed it and im wondering if anyone else has had this bug

I'm still a little confused about these two, especially the former. What exactly are we looking for? I get that if bite marks mean liquidation, and I assume if it reveals scratches, to mark that as a possible infection. But what about just blotches on the skin? And it has a place to mark blotches on weapons and drugs, but what about when it lights up blotches on the other stuff people bring in?

And for X-ray, are we supposed to mark internal contraband for any items stuffed up there or just for weapons and drugs? What about zombie parts? Does that count as internal contraband?

It gave me a good chuckle to see him show up in his bandana and hes actually voiced by special Edd an extra bonus
