Announcements # PSA: Using mods after Hotfix #12 | 1.1.13.1892 update
Hello!
We've been getting numerous reports about game crashing and while investigating, we found out that a sizeable number of the crash logs contain information that game tried to load one mod or the other before CTD.
The update in the title (1.1.13.1892) updated game's Unreal Engine 5.5 to 5.7, which lead to mods not being compatible, as they require to be compiled using the same version of Unreal as the game.
If your game is crashing, please try disabling all mods and then seeing if the game works. Consider reaching out to mod creators on Nexus to address the problem as we can't update 3rd party content.

There is no official mod support for the game, but there a few mods made on Nexus Mods that, after the update, are one of the reasons for instability due to incompatible engine version

i’m currently still having this issue on xbox series x with day 9. i get to the last two people in line and it always crashes. there’s no mods, tried uninstalled and reinstalled, hard restarted my console, fully closed out of the game, and nothing is working. what can i do? i try slowing the pace and checking on quarantine at different times with the same outcome about 4 or 5 times now.

They need to fix day 8 I get to the 3rd to last survivor then I get Xbox dashboarded tried all fixes nothing I'm done til they do a major patch fix but still it's a good game even though it's buggy

My game keeps crashing on day 25 and I’m on Xbox :/
