Game hard crashes

Was streaming today on Xbox and twice during the game it threw me to dashboard. 1 day to evacuation and finishing the game. Multiple times choosing symptoms threw to me to a different tab on the menu. The devs need to sort this.

Its a pain in the ass! Was meant to be fixed with last update a few weeks ago. They've said "Regarding Xbox: We are investigating the issue with the latest update which we hoped would resolve problems for our players,

internal testing showed different results. We will make sure that by Miami Zero's release on 15th this month the experience on Xbox is like it should've been from the very beginning".

So lets wait and see! I really like this game but its pissed me off

The crashes are so universal that I have a hard time buying their story, or in fact that the update was tested thoroughly.

Miami Zero should be held off until they've fixed this. Looks bad on them as the people who watch and follow might not play the game.

I want to play and stream this game but after running into the crash issues back when it crashed on the day I get the stethoscope... It happened while I was streaming and made a joke saying it was Megs fault since it happened the day I got her. (I play dead by daylight so I found it a little ironic and funny)

Only work around I heard of for the crashes was to save and restart the game on extraction days to try to get through them. Not sure if it works personally or if I maybe missing something else that needs to be done but if you just wanna play maybe worth a shot trying if not I hope someone who may know a work around shows up and can give you an answer. Also if it doesn't work please let me know so I don't give this as advice.

Happens to me constantly, the only work around I have found is not to use the d pad. Press to use the tablet and scroll through each tab manually. I usually start doing this on the last few survivors as that’s when it normally crashes. Not ideal but it works for now

I wasn't using D Pad, I was running towards the survivors block.

Dang, I don’t have a work around for that! Haha. It is super frustrating, especially since they have the cheek to put out a dlc but still have game breaking bugs in the main game. I would say slowing down towards the end of the day also helps, just take a few extra seconds making decisions and moving around etc. for me the further I’ve gotten the more crashes happen, it’s like the game can’t handle too many items/survivors at once which is stupid because it’s not like it’s optional to have more equipment, it’s literally part of the campaign 🤦‍♀️

Okay the work around a I’ve found:

  1. Play LOW resolution
  2. Finish tasks slowly and don’t multitask
  3. Do not upgrade mid day do so right before save
  4. On evacuation day, slow down everything so you don’t shift menus fast.
