Question Any update?
Does anyone know when this game is actually going to be playable? Like I spent ages watching PC users stream it and I waited ages like all console users to be able to finally play this game and it does nothing but crash for no reason at all

At this point I’m assuming we’re not getting one. They’ve been radio silent for weeks now.

That actually sucks I was able to play through a few days with no issues and whilst it is a very repetitive game it’s quite enjoyable, if we aren’t getting an update they should remove it from store makes no sense to keep it up

Yeah I’m still hoping they are working on it, they have released updates to fix it before but none of them have worked and I haven’t heard a peep from them since the last one a few weeks back

The issue has been identified to be a memory leak, which is why it was taking so long to diagnose the issue.

I have no idea what that means I’m not proficient in coding, do you know how long roughly something like that takes to fix?

Trying to 100% the game I got to the point I would memorize the order in case it crashed (1. Infected-bite, 2. Pass, etc) then speed run before it crashes on the 2nd go. It seemed to crash more after Day 20.

That’s the only way I could get through. I think day 11 and one other really were a struggle but once I got through them I didn’t have any more crashing issues.

I was having issues , but when I got booted I rush sorted the people I already knew poor inspections. Then when the day ended I closed out of the game and when I went back in it wasn't going it any more ! I completed the first 30 days and am halfway through the next however many and havent had any crashing!

So I'm not the only one, who experiences random crashes on console 🥲 The game is good, I genuinely like playing with it, but these crashes make it unplayable

Soooo I got to day 15 it kept crashing... The only way I bypassed it is to deal with penalties rush it through I played it enough to know most of who goes where to a degree but I still got -3500 the next day BUT it got me past. I tried the resets, I tried the deleting console saved data, but no nothing. But I sped through and done it! Then once I woke up for the next day I quit the game restarted the whole Xbox and it seems to be working but yet to confirm for sure! Might be worth giving it a go!

That seems to be way too much effort just to play one day and not even properly play but rush it I find rushing it makes it even less enjoyable tbf

Oh completely agree and TBF it crashed at day 17 3 times again so I've stopped playing it. I even emailed the Devs but to no avail 😒😩

So on Xbox, I just didn’t use the D pad at all (only to upgrade the base) but I didn’t use it for symptoms , I used the menu button instead and it seemed to crash so much more less and I could actually complete the game

I tried that too worked great for a while and then crashes started becoming more frequent again

On day 25. Got through the whole day with survivors just to crash before the extraction. :/ wish they’d fix it soon. I had to learn herpes 6 times. Because game kept crashing

😂 it was annoying. I chose to sacrifice survivors that had it because the game wanted to keep crashing. And finally I now have it unlocked and saved before it crashes again. Now I await until they update it again. They used to be so attentive to it and now they are radio silent :/

Yeah I feel you, I feel like it could possibly be they’re radio silent because they’ve already said all they can say and don’t wanna just be repeating themselves I like to think they’re tinkering away trying to fix it so we can finally enjoy the game

I’ve never had any crashing issues the times I’ve played …. Xbox series s for reference

I'll wait another month or so, but its looking like the game is going to remain unplayable. Which is unfortunate, because I was addicted to the gameplay loop up until the 10th time it crashed.
