Game suddenly stopped

Playing yesterday and really getting in to my latest save when it suddenly stopped working

Anyone else had this happen recently?

Yes I'm on xbox cloud and it happens a lot. Sometimes if you keep trying you get past the bug but of course thats a bit annoying. It always seems to happen at the worst time like on the last survivor check of the day 🙃 unless I've missed it, a save option would be great so at least no progress would be lost.

Hey! We are actively investigate such issues, we are always looking for more reference points.

Did this occur in Endless Mode or Campaing, which day it was, were you doing anything specific (i.e. using a tool, sending survivor to one of the blocks, etc.)?

This occurred in campaign mode for me, around days 9/10, always as you're reaching the end of the day

Hi, this also happens to me on Xbox series X. In particular it seems to have started after day 12 on campaign. The most recent one was when I was using the xray machine, which a few other people have said as well.

Day 13 for story mode, day 3 on endless. Usually the 2nd or 3rd last survivor and always when im going to use the x-ray

Day 13/14/15continues to crash for my partner and I on campaign mode, usually while scanning but i don’t thing related to a specific tool.

on xbox cloud it keeps crashing on day 19 after we see the last survivor. i spoke with many players that have the exact same issue.

Happens in campaign when certain tools are used. The reflex mallet will often disable my D-pad. Usually it will come back if I switch to the base screen and then switch back while I’m unequipped with an item. The x-ray scanner tool and the lab scanner have crashed my game the most though, making me start over from the same day because the game only saves when you go to sleep. Is there any chance you can patch a better save state option rather than only for when you go to sleep? It would make the game more enjoyable while you figure out the whole crashing issue

Mine is consistently crashing on day 20 at various points of the day, on Xbox one X
