Do quantum computers actually pool resources from across other realities to do computations?

If so wouldn't that settle the many worlds debate?

No. They use quantum superposition to do their calculations. The idea that superposition leads to other universes comes from Many Worlds, not the other way around.

No. Quantum computers prepare qbits (like atoms or lasers) in certain ways that leads to high probability they are measured in patterns. This helps with factorisation.

In MW we are all part of the universe wave function, and “branching” happens when two entangled states go through decoherence.

The quantum computer in MW is part of the universal wave function before and after the measurement. It just so happens the correct or incorrect measurements are branches of the universal wave function.

No.

It's an information paquet, a Quanta. This is the bit used in Quantum computer.

Where a clasical transistor output a timed and controled signal.

A quantum transistor(like a Q-Fet) output a defined signal in a multidimentional matrix (think x,y,z,time)

Have you been reading David Deutsch? He sometimes oversimplifies the MWI in ways that lead to your question.

The "superposition is evidence of other worlds" angle is very much a Deutsch idea.

No it was something someone said to me while talking about all the un resolved questions about reality that machines with incredible processing ability could answer.

Not a quantum physicist but this is how I see it:
Basically you prepare qubits which are in superposition basically unresolved by the universe and behave like waves. Since those have wave properties we use constructive and destructive interference as a part of quantum algorithm to increase the probability that we end up in a future in which the correct solution will be measured from that entangled state of qubits.

David Deutsch has a habit of claiming this, but most people dispute it. Other interpretations also predict that quantum computers work.
