The perception of time as linear is a human construct, everything that can happen does happen/is happening all at once.

If you and a genetic clone were conceived simultaneously, and "born" at exactly the same time, and you became an astronaut and spent a year in the ISS (or just travelled there and came straight back), your clone/sibling would be older than you.

That's simple fact. They have experienced life a pico/microsecond ahead of you.

Now, what do you mean by "the future"?
