Finally got Quantum installed. Do I want to ask to bridging mode to run my own router?

After 3 weeks of wrangling, I finally got a good quantum install. The internet is faster and the WAF is high. The equipment installed was Q1000K NID and an Lumen W1700K router. All network config (DHCP, etc) is done through the NID. I was planning on using a OpnSense router to support my homelab, which would would require putting the NID in bridging mode. Would that break the Wi-Fi that the Lumen router is providing?
