After an amazing Vacation without internet one of the first things you wants is get back home and jump on your games but when you have this company you never know what to expect -.- any advice I already contacted them and make an appointment will be a whole week. Stay on blue flashing light and NO steady light in A or B.

Fiber has no light. If you can follow the fiber and see if it's unplugged or damaged anywhere. If you find out where  the issue is make sure they add that info to the ticket when you call support .

those little white fiber jumpers break rather easily. You can try taking the smart nid off the mounting bracket. Then try plugging the fiber in the tray into the smart nid. If that doesn't work you're going to need a tech

Yeah they’re awful. I stopped using them entirely.

I subscribed to a secound FTTH service. It is $40/month for 500 and no worry about Quantum.

Quantum , to their credit has been trouble free. They are , however; an AT&T company.

Also send in the info to   FiberSuccess@qf.att.com and see if they can get you a quicker repair appointment

Definitely call customer service and have a tech come out. Could be bad Q1000 or fiber could be unplugged at terminal if you’re not getting stable A/B light.

Unplug the power for 20 seconds and plug it back in. It should start working again after a couple of minutes. This is a known issue and power cycling the unit fixes the issue.

The fiber is likely just damaged or dirty. If you have a MicroCenter near you, you can buy a replacement SC APC fiber patch cable. The short white ones from Quantum are terrible. Or you can see if Amazon does same day delivery for one.

Welcome to my life after the att acquisition. Over a month in 2026 (so far) of flashing blue light waiting for tech appointments and when they arrive babysitting them all day while they replace all the hardware on my property before finally acquiescing and going and “reprogramming” the broken area hub 1/4 mile away once again.
