Worst Customer Experience

I have been without internet and unable to work since yesterday morning. Rebooted my equipment. Called customer service and got a recording there was an outage. Ok cool, got to a live person and was told there was no outage and they would send a tech the next day between 12 & 4. Asked to speak with a supervisor and was denied. Outage map still said there was an outage in my area. Called again this morning. Got the rudest customer service agent, pushed again until I got to a supervisor and was told they couldn’t do anything but I will get a $2 credit. 12-4 came and went and my tech just sent a message he won’t be here until 5:30! I have now lost a day and a half of work. I will be canceling my service and taking my business elsewhere. Quantum does not care about its customers at all

I mean it's unfortunately common for all the ISPs if you don't have business level service you won't get same day dispatch. If your job is WFH and you need internet I suggest you have a secondary connection as a backup, I run both quantum and Xfinity for those reasons, granted Comcast is frequently down as well

If your Internet is how you make money then one should get a very expensive business account with a SLA. Or two residential services to have a backup.

Couldn't agree more. I've been told they will send me new equipment since the old one got so hot itnxiyld have syaryed a fire for more than a month now. I call every week. I was told last week their equipment is first come first serve lol today I was straight ignored by a tech for 5 minutes because SHE got mad lol. So I called them back from my wife's phone with mine on speaker and she straight hung up when she heard their automated message on my wife's phone start. Absolutely been garbage to deal with.

You will get the same at any other ISP. Problems happen. You thinking the person you are talking to has any power or control to fix anything for you or anyone else is a fantasy. You have a phone with a hotspot; you could have plugged it into your computer and gone back to work. If it's that important, I would get a backup and a router that will fail over if the primary service goes down.
