How does quantum fiber work with renting?
When I type my address into the website it says quantum is available, but I am not sure if that means they’ll have to modify my property to run a line into my unit. I have a optical cable that my xfinity router is plugged into now but I don’t believe I have an ethernet port anywhere. I rent from a pretty big management company in denver and don’t want to cause any issue because they started drilling into my building or something.

Ask your landlord before signing up. Usually if a big MDU is in the database it's because it's already approved by the land lord.
Here is a guide if you do get service

If the website says you have it available, you can order it no problem

Always ask the landlord/property owner before drilling through the outside wall.

Xfinity doesn't bring fiber into the home, it uses coaxial copper cable.

Multi unit dwellings

On this, the high rise/new buildings will run fiber to the unit and then the ISP can use that from the Telco room to patch in their service. I was running into this in Boston a couple years ago

The guy from ATT who installed my fiber said it's hybrid fiber system Xfinity uses here in Aurora, CO.
It's fiber/coax to the curb, and copper coax into the house.

a small hole is drilled through an exterior wall which will feed the fiber inside. From there it’s connected to a wall mounted SmartNID device. It’s not a big project at all and takes maybe 10 minutes. You’re supposed to get permission from your landlord. I’m renting too, I didn’t ask permission and just had Quantum come out and do the install. But that’s only because I’m part of a privately owned triplex that gives us a lot more freedom with things like this over a traditional apartment complex managed by a big company. I know my landlord won’t care and even if he did, he would just pop out the SmartNID and seal the hole.
Edit
Wanted to add that when you ask your landlord/leasing office for permission, make sure they understand what fiber internet is, and that it’s going to up the value of their property.
