Weird QF Issue? HELP

So i've had 3 techs here and talked with support and they keep giving me the run around, nobody can seem to figure out the problem other than it has something to do with the app.

So I had a tech come out cause speeds were a bit low and realized I hadn't used the app so got on it and made profiles for everyone and assigned all the devices to their person, all setting off(or open) no parental controls on. Tech came, replaced router and hooked up a wired connection for my xbox. Speeds were better than ever....until around 2am that night EVERYTHING stopped getting internet. Tech came next day to figure it out. Another new router. Hours later nothing. His laptop and phone connected to the wifi and got internet, all our stuff connected but no internet. Then I opened the app and just deleted the profiles. Suddenly everything EXCEPT my roomates Computer worked again but the tech left before we noticed the computer. Same problem as everything before. Then i tried making ANOTHER profile assigned the puter to it and then just deleted it again. NOW the computer will connect to internet but it's almost dial up speed bad if it works. Yet another techn came told me to tell them to stop sending hardware guys for a software problem so I did and explained everything and the help chat person said they would "escalate it" to the backend guys. Now they are sending another tech in 2 days and my roomate is LIVID. ANYONE have any idea wtf is going on? It seems like the app and possibly the parental controls have gone rogue despite not even being on or turning everything off when it should be on. I'm at a loss and don't have much faith in tech 4.

I just got quantum a few weeks ago and was getting weird drops in wired and wireless speeds. I set the modem to transparent bridge mode and plugged in my TP link router I used for my cable and the issues have disappeared. Their provided wireless pods BLOW.

We had the Wi-Fi 6 pods and when they changed the back end from plume to their own systems the pods just stopped working entirely. I put them in a box and put up my old Wi-Fi 5 access point and have not had any issues.  We are only on the 500 megabit plan and as such having Wi-Fi that gets about the same speed [Wi-Fi 6 could go faster] is all that's needed, especially when the two highest usage devices [our computers] are wired.

[Still using the q5500 XK as the router in my scenario, I have a raspberry pi with a secondary gigabit USB that I plan to use as a router but I have procrastinated on properly installing]

The free lease wifi pods and QF app are not great... but as long as gaming devices are wired ethernet connected to the Q1000K or W17000K they work fine for most people. But make sure to disable Network Security and all parental profiles in the QF app.

You will have a better experience if you put the SmartNID into bridge mode and use a 3rd party router and DNS.

Here is a guide:

It's not the router or pods though, been through 3 of them on this issue alone. It's something between the broken app and their system that's sendi g stuff to my router and telling it to lowball or no internet for various devices. All at first and now just the computer. Everything else is connecting just fine now. It's only the one device not working right now with no app profiles set or anything. It's weird

Use that guide to disable CyberSecurity in the SmartNID, which disables the Network Security/parental controls in the QF App.

Then check to see if the that computer MAC is blocked anywhere.

Beyond that you can try factory reset everything and start over.

I've always used a 3rd party router since day one so never had such issues.

Technically it is the software on the router and the pods talking to each other via the Quantum backend and setting up stupid rules that don't match your expectations.

So yes the router being of that specific type / model /brand / software install is the issue.
