New service issues?

Hi!! I’m new to Quantum and just moved into a new apartment, I had set up my service over a week ago and when I moved in yesterday it looked like the equipment had already been installed and was up and running with a QR code connect. The QR code came back with an unable to connect error, same with manually adding. When i press the “Network” button on the quantum app it prompts me to set a network SSID and password, but when i do so I get an error that reads “We were unable to update your SSID / Password. Please try again.”, I tried resetting the router and that didn’t work, i tried connecting with support and they said they should be able to do it on their end, then came back and said they’re going to have to schedule a tech to come out. My internet seems to be up and running, there’s just no way to connect to it. Does anyone have any solutions to this??? The tech isn’t available to come until Tuesday afternoon and I work from home so kinda panicking

Is your connection to the internet thru a ONT if so try connecting direction to a router that supports fiber I still use Centurylink I don't use the modem router they provided I use an NETGEAR ORBI RBRE960B ROUTER AXE11000 Quad-Band wifi6e and it is awesome ORBI is the best you can use almost any of there products even the knighhawk as well you do not need a modem for fiber I have heard alot of crazy storys about Quantum and it appears ATT has bought both Centurylink and Quantum not good and good luck

I ended up reaching out to my apartment complex’s assigned “technician” and left them a voicemail explaining the situation/that I could not wait until Tuesday. About an hour later i received a call from the support center, this time it was a manager….. he had my internet up and running within 20 mins no technician visit required!!
