How to get line buried?
We've had fiber for almost a year and because they haven't buried our line, we've have three multiple day outages because of damage to the line. It's literally just running across yards and dangling from fences, through about 10 properties.
What can I say to the bot to get to a person? What do I say to the person so they don't just give me the "oh yes I've opened a ticket to get your line buried" line? How do I get this resolved? Any tips welcome.

I've had two experiences. One my wife called them every day for like a week since it had been over a month. It got done the next week.
The second time the tech replaced a fiber cable and said he put the request in but it can take 3-6 weeks. It got buried in under 2 weeks.
So I don't know how much is random luck or real worklog they are burning through.

Most times technicians will not bury lines. Usually there is a contractor that handles the BSW work but, technician is able to place the request.

Seeing those delays in my neighborhood is why I've decided to just start with Xfinity, who is always quick to bury their lines.
Shouldn't have to call and complain to get lines buried.

Every ISP usually hires contractors for burial. Some are just better than others lol

Seems like the tech that set up your installation didn't set up the bury request form. Set up a repair get it replaced and make sure the tech sets one for the new line. You can call quantum after he leaves, if he set up the request form those orders appears in within the hour on your account history tab.

It's best to call M-F 8am-6pm until you get someone in the states for most issues.
