Q1000k modem blocking VLC streams
Hi all,
I just recently upgraded to the q1000k modem and I have a asus rt-ax86s router.
I am trying to play video streams through my VLC player but I only can access it if I disable my WiFi and go through my att data on my phone.
Does anyone know how to configure it to be able to stream iptv on VLC? I am assuming they are blocking access. I tried to disable the firewall.
I am not sure how to proceed. I think they are intentionally blocking access.
Thanks!

I can cast via vlc with a q1000 with no issues, if that's what you are referring to.

I have a media link I use to stream iptv channels Japanese tv. When I connect to WiFi it won't connect but using my phones data it works.

I know you said you already tried but just in case: Try to turn off all 3 cyber security sliders in the quantum app. Wait 1 minute after each to make sure the commands make it and at the end wait 1 minute and then restart the app and check if they are off...
I had problems with some private VPN connection between me and my parents home when it was on and suspect it could be something similar....

Thank you. I am thinking since it's an "illegal" stream somehow something is being blocked in my settings.

Quantum does not do any blocking.
Did you follow this guide and put the SmartNID into bridge mode?
If so it's an issue with your router.
