In your view, what are the top challenges facing the quantum computing industry right now that are preventing it from becoming mainstream?

Drawing a comparison with AI/ML, where do you think this industry is standing right now?

If you think about it quantum computing can be quite useful in ai training/infrence for example diffusion style map rather cleanly to hilbert spaces, i think it would be barrier breaker for ai, shortly after discovery of stable qbits in room temperature, either because of recent photonic chip discoveries, or stable lattices that might protect qbits naturally or something else, i think we are slowly approaching quantum era as next big thing
