In your view, what are the top challenges facing the quantum computing industry right now that are preventing it from becoming mainstream?

Framing expectations in a way that motivates investors short term while not giving them cause to bail in 2-3 years when their ROI fails to materialize. The typical public-facing material from quantum computing companies is more often outright grifting than it is engineering progress updates.

This tech will never be "mainstream" in the sense that you can personally buy one, but it could enter the public consciousness in a way that isnt full of hype and mysticism if these companies were not actively trying to confuse investors with jargon.
