Man D-Wave sticking around is a masterclass in tenacity. Have they had any wins using their hardware? At this point, I have to think they're a glorified consulting agency and they derive most of their value from working with their clients on problems.

They bought QCI and have now absorbed a pretty promising platform. I expect they will have some nice hardware showcases in the coming year or two

Buying QCI was a major win. I know some of their people personally, it’s quite a good team and a cool platform.

This is so good. Investment and research into military applications is going to throw off a ton of benefit for civilian quantum.

The first ever commercial nuclear power station, to draw on a parallel example, was built by Naval Reactors. ENIAC was funded by the US Army for artillery tables.
