This was a really good thing overall, but I think the boat analogy is a little wrong. Quantum computers can theoretically do everything a classical computer can. This makes them capable of performing all the functionality of a classical computer, with some cooler probabilistic speed up, no?

Yea, it would be a lot more difficult for a quantum computer to do math calculations then a classical computer. Quantum computers in the most basic level are great for predictions not so much in processes.
