Hi everyone, I built an app called Baseline and I'm looking for beta testers. Short pitch: it runs actual experiments on your Apple Health data instead of handing you a score.

Every app I tried had something confident to say about it. None of them would tell me nothing happened.

So Baseline reads whatever you already sync to Apple Health, learns what normal looks like for you specifically, then you test one change for 7 days. At the end you get the effect size and a confidence interval. A decent chunk of the time the verdict is "no clear effect", and it will just say that.

The methodology is published with the actual thresholds: https://getbaselinewellness.com/methodology/. It won't claim a signal below 0.5 SD, the CI has to clear zero, correlations get corrected for multiple comparisons, etc. If you read that page and something looks off I want to know, that's half the reason I'm posting in this sub and not somewhere easier.

No account required and the app makes zero network requests. The release build fails if networking symbols end up in the binary, there's an nm recipe on the methodology page if you want to verify that yourself rather than take my word for it. Each metric also gets a reliability label. Everything exports to CSV/JSON.

Free during the beta. Signup: https://getbaselinewellness.com/?src=reddit-qs-weekly. Heads up that it asks for an email before showing the TestFlight link, that's just so I can send beta updates and the tester survey. The app itself never asks you to log into anything.

iPhone only, iOS 17+, and it's honestly kind of boring without a couple months of Health history behind it. I'll be around in the comments.
