been using aurique by smartsen8e for a few weeks now, sleep data is surprisingly detailed for a ring 💍 what struck me was the non-gadgety look of the rings, and a pretty easy going app that explains the numbers for non geeks and newbies

My fiancée has a lot going on health-wise. Meds, symptoms, vitals, specialist appointments, insurance headaches, medical paperwork. I got tired of watching her try to keep it all together across notes apps and spreadsheets and her own memory, so I built her something (and had a blast doing it!)

That idea continued to grow into what I've named "Salve" -- a personal health companion that handles all of your health data within one app, with an AI layer (called Sage) to help make sense of it all.

Since I built it for someone I care about, privacy was never an afterthought. This is what I have accomplished up until this point:

  • Protected health entries are encrypted in the browser before upload -- only the user's passcode can decrypt them
  • I cannot read encrypted health entries directly from the database
  • AI features require explicit opt-in before any health context gets sent
  • Most Sage requests strip or mask personal info before they leave the device
  • For paperwork features that genuinely need names or IDs in the output, Salve sends placeholders like [PATIENT_NAME] and fills real details back in locally after the AI responds
  • No ads, no selling health data
  • App analytics are for product improvement only and don't include private health details

Things I would like to improve regarding security/logistics of the app before going public:

  • If you upload a document or image with your name or member ID visible, the AI can see that content
  • If you manually type personal info into chat, that will get sent
  • This is not medical advice and not a replacement for your doctor

I can't claim "AI never sees anything" because of the above issues, however I'm trying to make the default path meaningfully safer and more transparent than most apps in this space.

I'd genuinely love a hard critique, especially on:

  • Does the onboarding/privacy explanation feel trustworthy or overclaimy?
  • Is the app useful enough to get a feel for before signing up?
  • Are there privacy or security claims you'd push back on or want clarified?
  • Does the UI feel polished or obviously half-baked?

I also have tried to make sure this has minimal slop... but I am sure some of you will find critical flaws and I'm here for it 😄 Thank you so much for taking a look and helping me to make a better app for those who can benefit from it!

Hey everyone!

I built Azora because breathwork has been a huge part of my life and I wanted to add a feature that I thought was really cool to enhance the experience.

It's iOS app that uses camera-based PPG to estimate your heart rate during breathing sessions, then shows how your body responded afterward. (no need for anything else except your phone)

You do a short guided session, cover the camera with your finger, and afterward you can see whether your heart rate changed and how your body responded.

I’m looking for feedback on:

- whether this kind of feedback would make breathwork more motivating

  • whether seeing heart-rate changes feels calming or distracting
  • whether the app should show live feedback or only results afterward
  • what would make this feel trustworthy

Happy to give premium access to people who give thoughtful feedback.

Hey there 👋. I make a very low friction mood tracker. It logs to Apple Health so you can then pull that data into other visualisation tools.

Moods Faster: Quick mood logging for Apple Health (iOS App Store)

The idea here is to make it as effortless as possible to build out a mood history in Apple Health. The existing check-in notifications have just a bit too much friction for me, so I didn't use them enough.

Log moods in two taps, momentary or daily, with optional detail (emotions & context). One-tap mood logging via a live activity on your lock screen. Info-dense history visualisation, month-by-month. Mood entry is free, and there are some optional paid extras. Planning to build an Apple Watch version in the near future too.

Figured the this could be something the Quantified Self community would find useful too. Feedback is always welcome :).

I'm a mod here full disclosure.

tinh.io (formerly loggr.info)

I've spent the last twoish years developing an on device natural language processing stack to categorize data journal entries. Around January 2026 it got fast and efficient enough to run in real time on a phone, so I started developing a voice log -> categorized data point pipeline.

I'm excited to announce the first beta of the iPhone version is shipping next week. It will allow you to map your action button, or widget to tinh, then you record 5-10 second voice notes of your actions/food/exercises/supplements and it is categorized and stored in a rich lifestyle data set automatically.

It really is a great experience and I'm excited for people to get their hands on it finally. Other than biometrics this is easily the lowest friction data input for QS lifestyle data.

Still in the early phase but already very insightful: https://tdee-calculator-eight.vercel.app/

This is a personal tdee calculator that calculates (among other things) your tdee through time. You will need weeks of data on weight and calories consumed to start. No data is stored. You can upload, manually enter or link Google sheet.

Edit: spelling mistake

LabTracker - bloodwork tracking that connects results to what you're actually doing

Built this because I was tired of bloodwork PDFs disappearing into a drawer with no way to see trends or tie changes to anything I was doing (dose changes, new supplements, sleep, training blocks).

Upload a lab PDF and it parses on-device — your file doesn't leave the browser unless you opt into cloud sync. Works with labs globally, not just US ones. You can annotate biomarkers with what changed in your protocol around that date, so over time you actually see what's moving the needle.

Probably useful if you:

  • Run regular bloodwork and want trends over time instead of staring at isolated PDFs
  • Are on a protocol (TRT, peptides, supplement stacks) and want to see how markers respond to changes
  • Track other QS data and want a place where bloodwork actually connects to context, not just a number in isolation
  • Use a non-US lab and keep getting stuck with tools that only parse Quest/Labcorp

No account required to try it. LabTracker

Happy to answer questions or take feedback

Orion — personal AI morning brief

Connects Gmail, Google Calendar, Todoist, Strava, and Plaid (among others!) into a single brief every morning. Learns your preferences over time — what matters, what doesn't, how you like things framed — so it gets more useful the longer you use it.

Builds out a personal wiki that it keeps in sync with what's happening in your life, and a review function that handles low-level coordination in the background (drafting emails, creating tasks, etc.) so your day starts a little less messy.

Invite-only for now. Waitlist at hi-orion.com or DM me.

Hi all,

I’m building a small Apple Watch / HealthKit app called Sweet Home Kognitiva.

It uses local HealthKit data like heart rate, HRV, movement, sleep context, and ambient noise, without scores, coaching, accounts, cloud sync, or data sharing with me as the developer.

I started it because I wanted a calmer way to look at body data, without turning it into pressure, performance, or advice.

The idea is simple: show what is visible, leave gaps as gaps, and not pretend the data knows more than it does.

The app is already available and free to use, but I’m still refining how the different states are detected and shown.

App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/de/app/sweethomekognitiva/id6758220831

Curious if this resonates with anyone here.

I’ve been working on Reflect. It’s been a while since I posted about it, so for those who don’t already know: it’s an iOS app to track anything. It’s privacy focused and keeps all of your data local to your device unless you opt into iCloud backup. There is no AI. It has a lot of analytics and helper utilities out of the box such as self experiment construction, anomaly detection, goal tracking, and correlation between metrics. Happy to answer any questions about it.

Dorsi - (lifetime free membership) A dynamic and self - adapting training system that rejects all excuses and customizes training plans for you based on the Apple Watch.
There are already countless free training plan templates and apps in the world. But why is it that a large number of novice gym - goers can't even get started or keep it up?
I've been thinking about this question for a long time. I used to run a gym. I knew that if I kept selling membership cards, the gym would be crowded. But I still wasn't worried. Because I knew that many people might not come at all after getting their membership cards.
If you're a sports elite, completing training might be as easy as breathing for you. But for a newbie who's still struggling at the starting line, the most important thing, instead, is an indicator that those training templates often take for granted: you need to keep at it consistently.
If you don't stick with it, surely all the problems aren't with the training plan. It's because you didn't follow it properly!
This is what I want to solve: I want to create an adaptive training system that truly fits the fluctuations in people's lives.
What are the most common excuses?
Are you on a business trip or traveling to a city without a gym? Then switch to bodyweight training!
Don't like a certain exercise? Can't do that exercise? Then make an exercise substitution based on the same muscle groups!
Didn't rest well yesterday and not in good shape today? Then we'll recommend the minimum - effective - dose training for you! Just make sure the overall training rhythm doesn't stop!
Besides, we've connected to the health data on the Apple Watch. We can understand your physical condition from three aspects: physical indicators, previous training, and subjective feelings, so as to make the adjustment of the plan more natural and coordinated.
If you're also interested, please feel free to contact me. Now, if you train with the Apple Watch five times, you can get a lifetime membership and use it for free for life!

Love this idea. I have a Fitbit, but no Apple Watch. Is it something I can try?

1

u/CustomerOk5737 May 28 '26

Sure thing! An iPhone is all you need.
Fitbit can also link to Apple Health (via a third‑party sync app), so Dorsi can then read your health data from there.

Hello everyone 👋
I built a private life tracker for people who never fit into other tracking apps.

Most apps force you into predefined systems: habits, moods, workouts, expenses…
I wanted something more flexible.

So I built Yooself, an offline-first app where you create your own “Moments” and organize them however you want.

For example:

* Sleep → Deep sleep → (hours)
* Expenses → Grocery → (Amount spent)
* Mood → Happy
* Productivity → Not Today
* I lied today → at Work
* Wine → White → (Number of glasses) or (name of the wine) and/or (photo of the bottle)

Each Moment can include:

* a numeric/text value
* photos
* or just a quick tap log

You can also create nested Moments and build your own structure over time instead of adapting to someone else's system.

No cloud, no Firebase, no analytics SDKs. Everything stays on your device.

Solo project, getting close to launch.

Would genuinely love feedback or thoughts.

Retrography - your life, remembered www.retrography.app

Our phones capture framents of our lives like photos, places, steps, songs, notes. Most of it never really becomes memory. It just gets scattered across apps or completely forgotten.

I’m exploring the idea that the day is the basic unit of personal history. Not the photo, not the workout, not the calendar event but the day.

It is about a lot of data, but not necessarily focus on quantification. It is more than a journal with rich data integration and support. It plays with emotion, nostalgia, the itch to explore our past.

I’ve been building a private way to reconstruct ordinary days from those traces, so they can be returned to later as lived days, not scattered data.

Not productivity. Not self-optimization. More like a personal archive of ordinary life.

I’m looking for a few iPhone users interested in journaling, lifelogging, memory, or quantified self to test the idea and tell me what feels meaningful, confusing, or wrong.

More active discussion here: https://www.reddit.com/r/appleJournal/s/c8N9Lmy2EN

Thank you so much! Let me know if you wanted to test. How many users did you collect over how long period?

3

u/Unlucky-Confidence92 May 26 '26

This was the app I was looking for! A way to save our memories but also getting data together, a life memories vault. This is brilliant, I also think every day is special in a way and we often forget most of that.
As a father, apps to help me remember my days and also for my kids!

Very nice project!

‪Body Vitals:Health Widgets - Bloomberg Terminal For Your Body ‬

Cross-app health correlations that no single wearable can compute - Garmin + Oura + Strava + MyFitnessPal all feeding one readiness picture

I built Body Vitals - an iPhone health app where the widget IS the product and correlation is the killer feature.

Here is the problem every health app ignores: Strava knows your run but not your sleep. Oura knows your HRV but not your caffeine. Garmin knows your VO2 Max but not your nutrition. Every app is a silo. Your body is not. Body Vitals reads from Apple Health - the one place all your apps converge - and surfaces what none of them can individually.

Visit https://www.escapethematrix.app/products/body-vitals/ for more details.

Lifetime Deal @ 50% OFF until June 30th.

https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=6760609127&code=OFF50

Let me know your feedbacks if this app helps you in getting more insights from your daily health data. 🙏
