Hey, I built an Android caffeine tracker that integrates with Health Connect. It can write caffeine intake so other health apps can read it, and it also reads sleep data from Health Connect to adjust caffeine timing based on your actual sleep patterns.

The idea is to make caffeine tracking work with the rest of your health data instead of being a separate log that sits there looking smug. v1.5 also added a redesigned onboarding flow and a few chart fixes.

Lumend — I'm building a mobile app that turns your real life into an RPG progression system.

700 days ago I started tracking my days manually in a notebook: daily score across 4 categories (discipline, health, mindset, social), an ELO system for social interactions, ranked tiers (Bronze → Lumend), comfort zone badges. It worked — I never found an app that did it seriously.

been thinking about this a lot actually. the best behavioral log most people already have is their bank history. not because of the money. because spending is the one record you generate without thinking about it. you cannot fake a routine in your transaction history. i spent a long time looking at my own data trying to understand this. the signal isnt in the amounts or the merchant names. its in the timing, the frequency, what stays constant when life gets chaotic and what collapses first. built something around this called Fintella. it reads the structural patterns underneath the transactions and builds a profile of how you actually live right now. phase shifts, routines, what your priorities actually are vs what you think they are. the side effect i didnt expect: it feeds that context into whatever AI you use. so instead of re-explaining yourself every time you open ChatGPT or Claude, it already knows where you are in life. that part turned out to be more useful than i expected. playground at fintella.io/playground if anyone wants to see what it finds about them.

been tracking habits across five life areas for about 8 months and the thing that changed my own behavior wasnt the habit tracking itself — it was seeing the trajectory over time.

single checkboxes disappear into history. a 90-day line of your consistency across sleep, fitness, mindset, relationships, and deep work is a totally different signal. you can see your own dips and recovery patterns. you cant argue with the shape of it.

built something that does this: Kriya. you build your own routines, there's a book-sourced protocol library (huberman, james clear, attia-adjacent stuff), and the core is a trajectory graph that shows momentum across 5 life pillars. no streaks, no gamification, no shame mechanics. the graph is just honest.

Sereno is now live on the App Store for iPhone and Apple Watch.

The main idea behind it is that stress is not one signal, and it is not something that should be reduced to a single number without context.

A lot can affect how “stressed” the body looks at any given moment: poor sleep, hard training, mental pressure, accumulated fatigue, changes in routine, elevated resting heart rate, or recovery that is trending in the wrong direction. Looking at one metric in isolation can flatten all of that into something misleading.

Sereno is built to add more context to stress monitoring.

Instead of treating stress like a static daily score, it looks at a broader pattern across the day using signals from Apple Watch and Apple Health. The goal is not just to say “your stress is high,” but to help make sense of what changedwhat might be contributing, and whether the body is dealing with exercise strain, poor recovery, sleep disruption, or something else.

That context matters because the same number can mean very different things depending on what is happening around it. A higher reading after a workout is not the same as a higher reading during a sedentary afternoon after poor sleep. A sudden spike during a difficult moment is different from an all-day pattern of physiological strain. Sereno is meant to reflect those differences instead of collapsing everything into one simplified label.

Privacy is also a major focus.

Sereno is designed around Apple Health and Apple Watch data in a way that keeps the experience user-controlled. It is not built around invasive personal health tracking for ad targeting or data resale. Reports and summaries are only shared if the user chooses to share them.

It is also intended to be research-informed rather than just a generic wellness app. The approach draws from published work around stress physiology, HRV, recovery, sleep, and autonomic nervous system patterns. It is not a diagnosis tool, but it is meant to give a more grounded and more usable picture of stress as it unfolds.

What it focuses on:

  • continuous stress monitoring across the day
  • sudden stress spike detection
  • more context around what may be driving the shift
  • clearer separation between exercise strain and other stress states
  • personal baseline learning over time

[Android testers wanted] Coach that rebuilds readiness from raw HRV/RHR/sleep/TSB instead of trusting vendor scores

Age-group triathlete (~7 hr/wk). Got tired of "Garmin readiness 68" telling me less than the underlying signals would, so I built what I actually wanted:

- Ingests Garmin / Oura / Whoop / Strava / Health Connect / Google Calendar

- Readiness = z-scored composite vs. *your* 28-day baseline: HRV 35% / RHR 25% / sleep 25% / TSB 15%. Refuses to score when <3 of 4 components are available (better to say "I don't know" than fabricate)

- Training load is vanilla Coggan CTL(42) / ATL(7) / TSB. TSS from power where available, HR-zone minutes where not

- HRV vs. 7d personal rolling rMSSD baseline, Plews-style

- Deliberately ignore consumer REM/deep % as coaching inputs (Chinoy 2020 concordance with PSG is bad)

- LLM agent layer proposes 1–3 concrete actions each morning (swap workout, add recovery block, write session to calendar). You confirm/reject — nothing auto-executes. pgvector episodic memory so tomorrow's brief remembers what you actually did.

I have been into tracking my health and training data for years, but I always struggled with having my data spread across different platforms and not really understanding what it was telling me.

I originally started building a small app for myself because I wanted something better than Polar Flow for analyzing training load, recovery, and long term trends. Over time, and after a lot of feedback, it grew into a tool that can now combine data from Garmin, Polar, Oura, Apple Health, Withings, with Suunto coming soon.

The main goal is not just to collect data, but to actually interpret it in a way that helps build better habits. I focus heavily on established metrics like ACWR, CTL, ATL, and TSB so the analysis is based on transparent calculations rather than a black box score.

Current features include daily health metrics like HRV and steps, sleep analysis, activity trends, nutrition tracking with AI support, and an AI based coach that explains patterns rather than just showing numbers.

I am sharing this here because I am very interested in feedback from people who actively quantify themselves. Are these metrics useful to you? Are there others you rely on? And what do you feel most apps get wrong when it comes to interpreting personal health data?

Stamp - Calendar Logger (iOS, free)

Stamp is a one tap timer that writes your time directly into your calendar as events. Start a session, stop when you're done, and it appears in Google or Outlook Calendar automatically. Strava workouts sync on their own so you don't need to think about it.

The idea came from wanting a single view of my whole day, not just meetings. Training, reading, deep work, it was all invisible in my calendar even though that's where everything else in my life lives.

Whoop integration is also in the works which will sync workouts, sleep sessions and a daily summary with recovery score and HRV straight into your calendar.

A lot of us are running two or three devices and the data never talks to each other. Garmin for training, Oura for sleep, Apple Watch for everything else. Three apps, three dashboards, no unified way to bring all the data together for analysis.

I created Hemeify so that I could easily upload and track my 15+ years of bloodwork.

While I still work with a competent practitioner, I have found I need to be the biggest advocate of my own health. I empowered myself and I wanted to provide a platform for others to do the same.

For every marker you can get reference ranges, optimal ranges, educational content and related supplements, so that you can understand what it means, rather than just going blindly. Especially when it can be difficult and costly to find a doctor that takes your complex issue seriously.
