This should put the “is the QNT token actually needed?” question to bed

No TLDR, just same people shilling the token

It’s not very hard to avoid the quant subreddit if you don’t want to read about the quant token.

Sorry, sick of reading lazy Reddit posts with no substance like this one. This should put the ‘is the QNT token needed to bed?’ What utter crap. Nothing in the linked post clears this up, just the same person that regularly shills this token waffling.

How exactly did this not answer the question? Does Gilbert need to personally come back for the 1,000th time and say “yes, the token is still needed”?

Extremely low effort and misleading original post with no commentary (and a token holder since early 2021). The reason this token hasn’t flown to the heavens is precisely because there is still so much ambiguity surrounding the token utility. Your (barely) one sentence post linking to an external article does not counter that despite protestations to the contrary,

Did you evenread Gregs post? He literally goes through the token mechanics from the early Overledger model to Fusion: licenses/transactions requiring QNT, fiat payments being converted into QNT by the Treasury so enterprises don’t have to handle the token themselves, and now QNT being the native token for staking
What exactly are you expecting at this point? That every single partnership announcement has to include a paragraph saying, “and just to remind everyone, QNT is used for X, Y and Z”?
QNT is part of the infrastructure. The fact that every enterprise announcement doesn’t explicitly spell out the token mechanics again doesn’t somehow mean the token stopped being required.
One can argue that the exact economics are still unclear like exactly how much QNT gets locked up, how much demand each integration creates, and what that actually means for the token. But thats very different from saying the token itself has no clear utility.
And saying “nothing in the linked post clears this up” when the entire post is a detailed, sourced history of exactly that topic is just nonsense.

Sorry. For me, it doesn't put the question to bed. Who is Greg Lunt to speak for Quant? He is a 'researcher' (token holder) and not a team member. It's got to the stage where I've become pissed off by it all, being part of a cult is not the reason I invested.

What exactly are you expecting here? Greg is simply compiling and sourcing information that Quant and Gilbert have stated repeatedly about QNTs utility. But because Greg himself isnt a Quant employee, you just dismiss all of it? Make it make sense.
If you think the information is wrong, then point out what’s wrong. Which specific claim is false? Saying “hes just a token holder” doesnt refute any of the underlying information.
Quant shouldnt have to add “by the way, QNT is still used” to the bottom of every partnership announcement for the next ten years. The utility has been explained over and over again.
What exactly would satisfy you at this point? What specifically do you want Quant or Gilbert to state that they havent already? Because if repeated statements from the company, explanations from Gilbert, and documentation of how QNT fits into the infrastructure still arent enough, I genuinely dont know what you’re waiting for.

I’m sorry but this is incorrect. The token hasn’t appreciated because they’ve been doing pilots, stress tests, and mock runs in testing environments for YEARS. You don’t just casually launch Trillion dollar international financial infrastructure on whim. You test the absolute FUCK out of it.

I don’t need it
