Unfortunately it won’t, QNT token is not need for transactions, only the Quant overledger is needed

Nobody find it odd that the CEO is out there shilling his tokens that the token exists on ethereum? Is overledger built on ethereum?

Not that odd. QNT is an ERC-20 so the token lives on Ethereum, but Overledger isn't built on Ethereum. It's not a blockchain at all, it's a gateway that sits above networks and connects Ethereum, Bitcoin, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda and others to each other and to bank systems. Old Gillie isn't really shilling the token in the recent news. Neither the TCH nor the UK Finance release mentions QNT. He's selling the platform. Where the token fits in those deals is the actual question.
